So @binance has started a virtual war between two very different projects Elastos (ELA) vs WePower (WPR) whoever wins will get listed on Binance the exchange.

Currently voting is going on neck to neck competition from both

Who basically Binance regularly conducts a public voting for new crypto currencies (or tokens) to be listed on exchange. This month they selected some currencies but two of them stood out as of now.  WePower (WPR)  and Elastos (ELA)

WePower (WPR):
WePower is a blockchain-based green energy trading platform. It enables green energy producers to raise capital by issuing tradable energy tokens. It is clarified with European Regulator Token model designed to meet regulatory requirements.

Elastos (ELA):
"Smartweb is a web of Apps and DApps. We are creating an operating system for the Smartweb." So basically Elastos aims to create a new kind of Internet, powered by blockchain technology. On this new Internet, people will be able to own digital assets and generate wealth from them.

More Elastos is purely Chinese project and backed many big Chinese projects like NEO and BITMAIN. However WePower is basically European influenced project having headquarter in Lithuania. 

Both offering giveaways if they won. 200WPR is promised to voters if WePower gets listed and Elastos is also giving from 200 to 0.5ELA in various offers it they wont the voting.

Elastos SCAM!

Getting very closed between Wepower vs Elastos. Its amazing to watch communities fight like this to get their coin listed over at binance. I have obsreved that a lot of efforts were made by WePower, they were offering 30$ worth of free tokens to anyone who would vote for them.

Indeed, it is a war, and Elastos is a Chinese project, and the entire community is only about 10,000 people, but the vote is too much,and it is well known that the Chinese good at falsify data.
Yet the Wepower community has more than 50,000 people, and the new vote group has reached nearly 20,000, and if Binance is not a fool, the winner will be Wepower. :o

Well i don't think so... as it being backed by such big names... like NEO and Bitmain and AntPool are just few

As for me, the only winner in this competition is a Binance.

Yes i would love if Binance get them listed both and I'm sure by tomorrow morning both will be 60k votes each and its a huge success for Binance itself.

hahaha true as BNB ~9$ and currently 150k+ votes have been cast at 0.1BNB each vote that will be 15,000BNB =135,000$ already :D

Why is that? Can you proof your claim? Claiming that something is fraud or scam without any proof or explanation is not good attitude.

Yes obcourse they are the one whi holding the vulume of all crypto currency the listed in there exchange all of exchanger are always win when it comes like that. Even coin or tokens lose there value exchanger always win. I think in my openion maybe wepower will win at this contest.

I've heard a little about the WePower project, but I did not hear anything about the Elastos project, so I do not even know what to add here, I think that from this comparison Binance will still make its choice in favor of WePower

The war is really tough at the moment. But Elastos I am suspecting for foul. Low community yet big votes. Wepower looks more real with their vote they have large community.

Not all of those projects backed by big name will result in a good project. There are some projects backed by big-name become fail too.


That's why voting becomes an interesting business for exchange site to earn more money not only from the developer but the participant and supporter itself, binance use its name to gain more and more funds.

So, that means if Wepower tries to pay those to give a vote to the wepower in the binance to be listed on the binance exchange site? Not so good as in my expectation about that.

I think Wepower should win it, but because it is a vote and we all know the huge Chinese community, it is easy for them to influence the vote in favour of Elastos, but if not for this vote, i won't even have heard about the project

Well for me also i never heard about this project until this voting... WePower have a very power team and project itself is very unique.. not like any other crypto project.

Well you can see the level of this voting since both communities started blaming each other for using bots and vote manipulation and then CEO of Binance  have to tweet "Vote manipulation will be dealt with, strictly.".

anyway, i am amaze by elastos because i checked its telegram community its just almost 1/4 of wepower have. Whoever wins between this two doesn't matter that much, i think they are both good coins.
can't say that yet mate, it's really close fight but every time i check the votes elastos makes the lead most of the time.

I think that adding by voting is not right. As andiko wrote Binance only winner. But 2 community made battles between 2 good projects. And what's in sum? Binance is king and both projects with their supporters are jesters.

I think that many are fascinated to watch this hot competition. Both leaders are these worthy projects. I think that Elastos (ELA) will win. Forgive all who voted for WePower (WPR). They are both worthy of victory. But there will be only one left.

Actually WePower is bigger community but nowhere ELA is getting lead of 22k... and CEO of Binance tweeted vote manipulation will be dealt strictly which means there is some thing fishy which forced binance CEO to tweet this.

First of all we need energy more than APPS
2nd is wepower giving 200 free tokens which will worth to hold for long term they will give you good returns

Elastos better. We have energy without blockchain. And we will have energy without blockchain and any coins. But if Elastos will be able to do own project we get more than new token again

Agree to some extent... but we need dapps too... seriously no comparison in both projects... we don't know ELA OS might become next Andriod or iOS of the future and might reshape every thing.

Still if you ask me personally WePower have clear roadmap and I would go with WePower

I voted for WePower because it is an important project and I want WPRcoin to be traded on Binance. In addition, you can earn more WPR if WePower wins the vote.

Not really sure can you trust Chinese company. Actually not the company itself but country.. You know - China has a really unpredictable government. on the other hand, yu have company from European union..

As of now (25-02-2018 - 05:00 AM), Elastos is leading with over 15,000 differences in votes. Pretty sure WePower won't be able to catch up anymore as the deadline is today.
Another big pump incoming for elastos? hmm.... $135,000,000 volume in just 24 hours is trully insane! Once coinmarketcap reveals the market capitalization of this coin I'm sure it will be top 100 already. Really amazed me considering this coin is fairly new in the market. Oh well, that's chinese project for ya.

Elastos realy cheating. A bit more then 35k people was at 15.00, and now they have 70k+ seriously?

I like Wepower, but I was only allowed to invest a tiny 0.2ETH during the ICO.

Elastos is winning, I bet for a wrong horse! At least wepower gave back BNB for their vote, I confirm it. But difference in vote count is way to much and I see a clear winner here.

Exactly, Binance charges 0.1 BNB to vote, about $1 ... and last I checked had made about $150,000 just on these two projects.  It would have been cheaper for them to just pay for a listing.

both altcoins I see are excellent for investment, and the movement of altcoin is very fast and high potential. this is very interesting news that I get on this day maybe I will intend to invest on altcoin.

Asking a price to vote is already a manipulation. Binance will profit from both the voting and from the transaction fees after the token gets listed. So, the strict regulation of voting is not so strict.

Yes 100% agree with you... just simple math let say 200k votes cast x 0.1BNB = 20000BNB x 9$ ~ $200k.

What is the price to get listed on Binance by paying fee? I guess someone pointed out its just $100k?

right now there's a huge gap between the votes of wpr and ela. I think ela can win this one because NEO are supporting them in the voting and some of the other groups are helping too to get ELA listed on binance lets see what happens later

Seems Elastos will be a winner of the 6-th Binance vote (58.82% vs 28%), too big gap. That's was very exciting battle! :D

if you see previous votings on Binance maximum votes were 12k-16k.. and here we are talking about 100k+ :D

WPR and ela votes, there is a huge gap between because ela the official team used software to vote, wow, this is a shameless means, I think Binance will take measures to limit the ela, it's like a shameless team, should always be banned list on Binance.

Yesterday the difference was very minimal, Not sure how 50% difference this morning. Something fishy !

So in the last 24hrs of the vote Elastos had a gain of 100k votes vs WePower's gain of 10k? 

Does anyone else think this just looks fishy?  For something like this I would expect the votes to be more evenly spread out over the days the vote was active.

Just a day ago they were basically the same, now it's 150k vs 59k... That's a lot of votes in 1 day

There is an assumption that Elastos have paid to binance and vote was faked, simultaniously with Ela coin pumping. If you will take price 100k for listing, and subtract it from 150k youl get normal 50k+ votes, how it should be. But this is just an assumption. It could be simple bots.

I hope that Binance will check this voting really carefuly , i think it's very weird that Elastos gained so many votes in such short period of time.

Yes it is.. that's why ELA put all their efforts get to it.. I'm also holding WPR and waiting to let it appear on any famous exchange. It is on huobi but not a big fan of huobi.

Ela ended with having 150k vote which not seems to be realistic and they had only 15k telegram members while wepower had almost 65k, Cj ceo of binance also tweeted by saying "voting manipulation is not allowed" lets see what decision binance make  :-\

Would be cool if he listed both.  Whether there was vote manipulation for not, I think both camps proved they have a large, dedicated following and are eager to see their project listed on a large exchange ... plus, they already made over $200,000 off the voting.

But such results of voting upset and surprise me. I hope that Binance team will carefully check everything and only after that will make a final decision.

Yes its clear if Binance lists both it will be win win for WPR, ELA and Binance also. After Binance would be getting daily profits on each transaction. At moment 24h vol of both coins is $22m  and $124m each.

This was a strange vote, with WePower a little in front of Eladtos up to about 45,000 votes each - and then Elastos putting on another 105K votes at blistering speed in the last 36 hours to WePowers 15K votes, with ELA winning by 90K votes in the end. There’s talk of manipulation of votes, and I certainly received emails from both Elastos and WePower offering to send the BNB to cover the voting and both offering airdropped coins if I voted for their coin and they won.

Tbh I feel this paying BNB for suppprters to vote, and offering them financial inducements if the coin wins is getting away from the spirit of what Binance intended the coin of the month to be of allowing a smaller coin to be listed at no charge given it had genuine support from Binance users - and I wouldn’t be surprised if Binance cancels this contest in future, or radically redesigns it.

Although the 245,000 votes cast costing 0.1 BNB each would have netted Binance a nice little return of $225,500 at a BNB rate today of $9.27, so maybe they’ll keep the Coin Of The Month contest going forever haha!

A terrible manipulation was done here thats for sure, I know WPR was giving 200 coins for voting and I suppose ELA did something similar :)

Well some how this was suppose to be in start and one vote person is the policy from Binance they announce this in their Telegram group. I'm sure Binance did not make this for profit making option they already have so man options and its working well for them. If we see previous vote it was on average <20k votes only this time votes exceed this much.

You are right in this case both teams WPR and ELA pushed their users to create multiple accounts in binance using different email just to get votes. Which is just a additional load on Binance @ cost of just 0.1BNB. Because these new account won't be used again after voting.

I am surprised by the end result, I don't think it's true that ELA can win so much. Maybe there are some fake voters who get paid for this?

hahaha every one is surprised... but without proof we can't say any thing. Yes it does not make sense but as per them they have huge Chinese following on WeChat which helped them to get this much votes. Who know? we have to wait for Binance to evaluate and come back with results.

Binance was the only winner of the war，all tokens want the list on Binance exchange, because the exchange has a large trading volume, but ELA used the means of cheating to win the game, which is not worth promoting.

Can new accounts vote? It's just weird seeing ELA's vote boost on the last day like that.

Yes that is what... strange from Binance any new account if have balance of 0.1BNB can vote and it does not matter if account was created at same time seconds ago.

That's why WPR and ELA got so many votes. If Binance validates I'm pretty sure 90% of the votes will be from new account created just for voting.

There were no restrictions. Old and new accounts could participate in voting. For Binance it was a good opportunity to earn.
I think ELA could attract more supporters.

Who will say how often Binance conducts such a vote? I understand that they have earned well, from this vote. I do not want to believe that after the victory of Elastos there is a falsification of votes, I would like a fair fight.

Binance was the winner in this war. But you would hope they would list both Elastos and WePower as both are good coins/tokens in their own way. Both have solid communities behind them and large daily trade volumes. It's really a no brainer for Binance to list both with the trading fees they would earn from them.

My first community vote was during when Binance stopped registration so this was not a problem. I think Binance should limit votes from newly registered accounts or just allow level 1 accounts to vote. This is to prevent multi accounts.

I think both coins will be listed on binance and about the result of votes by elastos community it's not based on telegram they have so many supporters especially in china which are not members of elastos telegram.

I think Elastos votes looks suspicious. It is way too much looking at their Telegram group, but they have WeChat groups too. Who will say for sure? I like WPR conditions more, everyone should get 200 tokens if they win, not a lucky draw as with ELA. I hope binance.com disqualify ELA and I'll get my tokens  ;D

Actually Binance supported the such marketing campaigns previously and they praised because at the Binance also getting famous. But the Binance policy of 1 vote per person was largely misused. I was in both Telegram groups and user were encouraging each other to create new accounts to vote. However management of both projects or group admins did not mention or try to forbid this activity.

Otherwise voting was going smooth and with good competition but every thing changes in last 24hrs.

Another good news from WePower announced after voting was even if they don't win 25% of token (which will be 50) will still be given to the voters :)

If both get listed it is a win win for all including binance off course.  But let's see someone must be trying to get the proofs as well against elastos and the truth should he out soon.

Chinese is very famous with the vote manipulation. All it matter was who wins at the end.

In a business world, if one your competitors is doing something amoral (That might be considered cheating), isn't caught and is taking an edge on you, you have no choice but to follow.
I don't like the giveaways in general, whether it's elastos, wpr or whatever coin that's doing it.

This week of expectations will be very hot. Elastos won, but too many unhappy and many complaints. I wonder what decision Binance will take. It would be ideal listing both, but this is unlikely to materialize.

Well yea, WPR basically making the bet that being on Binance will make them more money than selling 200x50.000 tokens. Their price will probably dump as soon as they distribute these tokens.

I am pretty sure Binance will end up listing these two top coins. Just like what Binance did few months ago. No reason not to add both as poll is close and both showed strong community support.

I don't think Binance will list these two tokens, at the same time, the ELA is just a scam, it raised so much money, but just employed a machine for cheating, it is shameful, I think Binance will ban the  behavior.

Also think that Binance will list both Elastos and WePower - they both have the great community and both tokens deserved to be listed

WePower has said the results are being examined for vote manipulation and Binance should make an announcement soon.  They say we will get 200 if Wepower is declared the winner or 50 if not.  That is generous either way.  I was in the WePower bounty campaign and 50 or 200 will be a nice bonus. 

Honestly, I voted for WPR. But for me such voting looks more like a circus from the exchange side.
Crypto exchanges make too much hype and to many manipulations to overprice their services. >:(

Is there still no update from Binance?  There message said they would review the voting results and make a decision within 1 week.

ELA have announced in their Telegram group that they have won.

There seems to be a formal result on March 7th.
Although I think Wepower and ELA which one can win is ok, because I bought them all.

Zilliqa (ZIL) won with 18339 votes, 7.7% of the votes. They skipped on both Elastos (ELA) - 150288 votes and WePower (WPR) - 59348 votes.

I read about this confrontation in the telegram of the channel of one of the projects, it is interesting enough to see what decision will be taken for the both project, has broad support, both from the financial side and from the humans.

WePower is now listed on Binance.

But still I can't find ELA, does it mean WPR won the voting and ELA been disqualified because vote manipulation?
