Title: FUD campaign on Bitcoin coming
Post by: Wind_FURY on February 25, 2018, 05:22:32 AM
The "signs" are there.

Sign No. 1. The sudden increase of Bitcoin Unlimited Nodes and Bitcoin ABC nodes.

Sign No. 2. The sudden increase in transaction fees and unconfirmed transactions.

Sign No. 3. Some of Bitmain's hardware will be back online and more will be coming.

Plus expect the mempool to be flooded again in a few weeks. If you need to consolidate your UTXOs, you should do it now while fees are very low.

Why do you say it will be FUD? What I see is an increase in bitcoin’s usage, unless you are talking about FUD about bitcoin being slow and too expensive for transactions, but Segwit adoption is increasing and we are closer to lightning network usage.

Read between the lines. If you have really been following what was happening in Bitcoin for the last year and a half you would know this intuitively at first glance.

But I will give you some clues.

Network spamming

Jihan Wu
Bitmain

Tether is one sign.  ;D

FUD have been here since it went above the price of gold.
Looks like there are really many haters just so they could take over. It is all greed. Look how many scam coins are being created. I bet this is also fund of those who are owners of other coins just so they could enlarge their own token in terms of value.
Sad to see but it will always once something is on the top.

1. i don't know why this picture is like what you posted but what i see is very different!
in fact recently there was a big drop in number of bitcoin unlimited nodes. and even if there was a rise, that doesn't mean there will be FUD about bitcoin!! maybe someone was trying to do a Sybil attack on BCH!

https://i.imgur.com/pFwS0uS.jpg
https://coin.dance/nodes/unlimited

2. why use a twitter link of some random dude when you can see the mempool yourself https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,1w
this sudden increase what thanks to a couple of empty blocks + a lot of consolidation which means the full blocks only had <1000 transactions inside which some having as low as 200 tx
and it is over now!

3. i don't see any unusual hashrate change!

1. Sorry, you're right. I got the image out of context. The original tweet was from here, https://twitter.com/lopp/status/965261773677912065

Then another person tweeted that image in the OP as a joke.

But the whole point of the post is still the same. We know most of the Bitcoin Cash nodes are located in Alibaba Cloud China, and maybe controlled by Jihan Wu or Roger Ver.

2. This is true. But during that time who can blame them for being paranoid of another mempool flood coming.

3. But we know Bitmain and other miners are already moving their miners from China to another location. They will be back.
