That is how it can influence the financial system of a nation, don't think that makes government disappear it just masks their power into another form. From fiat to blockchain doesn't change the level of centralization especially a state run coin.

And yet you can use cryptocurrency completly and there still fiat money laying around. You cant make fiat be gone cause not all people in this world have access to cryptocurrrency yet.
