Dear Bitcoin Community,


I feel like I have to learn a lot of things from you, so I decided to ask you exactly what the title of this thread asks: In which coins to invest my $2500? Ethereum, NEO, Bitcoin Cash, Gas, or Waves?

I have already bought Dogecoin and Ripple, but in your opinion, in what coins should I invest my next $2500?

To make it easier, I even created a Poll with coins in which I would like to invest, but if you think the coins chosen from the poll are not a good investment, please help me to choose something better.

Avoid BCash. If we were in regulated markets the people behind BCash would be going to jail for market manipulation and collusion.

Investing in NEO over Gas seems senseless, since you can gain Gas by staking NEO. Waves has the highest potential short-term multiplier, but nobody knows if it will catch on or not right now. Ethereum is the go to for ICOs, at least currently, so it at least shouldn't lose your money (although that is always a possibility).

In general, do your own research and be careful whenever somebody tells you what to do with your money. They're probably trying to exploit your lack of knowledge in one way or another.

I dont recommend to invest with people's recommentation instead of asking us you should do your own research first because someone might suggest you the Bcash or bitcoin cash which is a shit manipulated coin by its founder,there are two coins you should stick with in your list,but i wont tell you because you need to learn and know how these coisn works for you to eliminate shitty coins out there.

I think that from the list you have the best option is to invest 60%-40% Ethereum and NEO. I have invested in this two and can say only good. Plus I think the future for this two is very good.

I would invest with 90% because NEO is a second coin when it's placed up against Ethereum. I know that Ethereum can do more.

There was just a little bit to put on top of the list the Bitcoin Cash because I saw it reached almost $4,000 and I thought if this currency was close to $4,000 once it would be $4,000 and the second time. So NEO can be a good investment. Thank you again for your help!

1 ethereum because i was expecting about next big update in ethereum platform just like difficulty increase and pos casper system.
2 Neo should be the second choice because you are able to staking your amount in the neo network to earn passive income and you should delist gas from your list because if you are buying neo and you will be able to earn it for free.

I guess it's about Ethereum and NEO. In fact, the only ones who have received votes so far. But I did not know that Bitcoin Cash is a coin manipulated by its founder. Wow! And yet it's so well known and used, ohh.

I advise you to invest your $ 2500 in NEO.

Bcash and waves could be easily defeat by eth and neo, bcash is so risky coin judging from its price recently it went up high as $3k and now almost closed to eth with small difference while waves on the other hand struggled with its market price and really slow when it comes to price growth compared to other top coins though i personally think that it is still a good coin but not as good as eth and NEO.

I think your Ethereum and NEO options are maybe the best ones. In my opinion, IOTA and bitcoin are giving really good buying opportunities in these days. After of them, I think Waves might be a good choice.

From your list of choices, Waves would probably end up giving you a better return on your investment than the others.  It's the cheapest out of the others which will give you a larger stack.  $2500 isn't really that much so it's better to invest it in a low cap crypto. 

I would do NEO and CARDANO.  CARDANO will go up to $2  at least in 2018, which is 6x from current price. NEO is sure the best one around and quality of projects building on NEO makes me think of it will be huge in coming years.

for myself I invest in Ethereum because this coin is quite stable and has potential in the future.

I think I would suggest to go for Ethereum since this altcoin has a good performance and has stable price record. Well, my second choice could be Neo as this also have stable price in the market and now gaining more popularity to more investors and because of it's popularity and stability, this coin will surely shine soon.

with $2500 you can buy waves and hold for long term period
i believe waves will be the next eth, even somebody said waves will replace eth
but you should do a research by yourself first before decided to invest in waves

I am still undecided between Ethereum and Neo. So I will probably invest the money in both coins, more as a few members from this community recommended me to do. But I do not think Waves should be ignored. Cryptosifu could be very right about investing in Waves.

I think you can invest in NEO, because NEO will be the next ETH, and there are more and more ICO projects based on NEO, so the value of NEO will be higher and higher.

Obviously you can go for ethereum. Ethereum has great potential. It it most powerful coin in crypto currency. It has bright future and ability to reach in big. So you can invest on ethreum.

Buying doge might've been a risky decision (the coin is really good, but nobody is developing it), but ripple is surely a great decision! As for coins among which you want to choose - all of them (except gas, maybe) are very strong and likely to grow. But let's look at them more closely. Ethereum has big problems and is worth a lot already. Bitcoin cash is supported by some bitcoin admirers, but it's more of a side project. What also is disturbing about it is the way Koreans sometimes manage to starts huge pump and dump games. Neo and Waves are both good, but NEO kind of exploded already, whereas waves is still cheap and has no strong competitors as a token platform. I guess it would be best to invest in both waves and neo.

Thank you kryptqnick! I think I should invest more money in Waves than I can now with my current budget. I see so many people who believe in the future of Waves. As for Ripple, yes, I think I have made a very good investment there too, but I also believe in Dogecoin.

I will choose to invest $2500 in ETH, Neo and Waves. For Gas, i use Neo to generate Gas. Bitcoin Cash and waves are not in my investing list. Waves has not much development and Bitcoin is a much better investment than Bitcoin Cash.

This must be your personal decision and you to know why exactly you want to invest in those coins. But anyway, from what you chose I would personally invest 90% in Ethereum and the other 10% in a coin that you did not choose - Stellar.

If i were you, I will Invest $1000 on Ethereum, $1000 in NEO and $500 on Waves. Ethereum and NEO have a great potential in long term and have a very stable price while Waves have a good chance to have multiple profit if it pumps in short term.

I wanted to add Stellar to this list, but then I changed my mind, I do not know exactly why. I noticed that Stellar draws attention more and more. Thank you for the advice Brito!

Invest the 40% for Eth then spread the 60% to the other top 4 on the list of exchange market you must monitor always so that you know what's happening. Be clever choosing the right  coin to invest bro $2500 bucks is still a money good luck.

All the coins you already mentioned are worth investing such amount because they have potential but I can advise you to split the fund and invest it on Ethereum, NEO, Waves and bitcoin cash.

NEO and ETH really good. If you invest $ 2500 I recommend investing in NEO. in line with your finances

Ethereum is the promising platform in crypto market. You are in blind choose Ethereum else invest in NEO and Ethereum both are good potential altcoins it will make big profit in future so I suggest splitting 50/50 then invest in both the coin this is the good way to invest in altcoins and one more suggestion you should invest in long term it will make profit else anything is happens in crypto market.

I think you should invest in ethereum because it has great potential for development and value is more stable than others and of course the price is also high enough to invest there

Ethereum and NEO have bright future. Both of them have innovative team, large community and already working platforms for token issuance and dapps. Their Gas would be used by a lot of projects and hence would increase in value.

If you have a plan of short term investment of money, then ETH is the best possible option amongst all other coins which you just mentioned as ETH is having greater market growth and there are more number of people who are investing third money into ETH. You just need to be sure that you have enough knowledge about ETH before making any investment and that you should work properly to have greater profit.

In my opinion, ethereum, NEO and Waves are good selection out of your five options. These coins have decent future and already peoples choice and have lot of rising potential.

My suggestion for invest your $2500 at Ethereum, Waves and Neo because these coins have more potential to rise and these coins have a strong platform.

Ethereum, the risk is lowest in this case.

I will advise you to invest your 2500$ in different coins like you should invest your 50% capital in Ether because it is the strongest coin now in market and all ico coming with ether platform so ether demand will increase and it have good future.  Other 25% capital you can invest in Bitcoin as it is evergreen currency and the king of all crypto currencies. And the other 25% capital you can invest in NEO.

Invest all of your money that $2500 into ethereum because it is the one of the best promising coins so if you want to invest it into long term then ethereum will be the best choice over the other cryptos you mentioned.Or you can split your investment into two then ivest on litecoin and ethereum these coins will give good price bump at the back end of this year.

I would go 70/30 Ethereum/Neo. They are both sitting pretty though, but I do see more potential in Ethereum due to market adoption rate. Though uncertainty toward Ethereum may occur when too many users are flooding the network because of its fast adoption. On the other side, politically, we never know what is going to happen with China.

Ethereum is definitely the top choice. For neo, its smart contract platform is not matured enough to compete with Ethereum. Bitcoin cash is not that promising because anyone can fork Bitcoin with ease nowadays.

All of your selected are good and established coins, but in my view  out of them Ethereum, Neo and Waves are too good for investment which may be give you decent returns in future, because these are have very strong potential of growth in coming future.

I wonder why you consider investing in GAS instead of NEO? Because holding NEO will bring some GAS but holding GAS won`t bring you anything... So, choose NEO! ETH is a good choice too, but I can`t say the same thing about Dogecoin - it was created as a joke, the development stopped long time ago and even its creator recently said it will finally collapse (indeed, it is good to make transfers, but personally I don`t see it as an investment coin).

I think investing all of your money in just one coin is not logical. It is good if coin start to rise but if you lose it wouldn’t be cool . If I were you I would definitely go with Ethereum and Neo at the same time. These two are the most promising ones on your list for me. This is just my opinion you should do what is true for you.

I think NEO is worthy of your attention. But why do you want to put everything in one coin? You have a good list and you can distribute your investment among all 5 coins. Think about it. I try never to put everything in one thing.

I think it can be useful for you in case you are planning to diversify your investments.

I know Ethereum is not perfect but imo with the support it has gotten, all the problems will be solved with time, and with greater adoption which inevitably awaits ETH in the future, the price of it will be rising.

As for NEO, or "Chinese Ethereum" like they call it, I think it has a potential to rise really big time in case Chinese government will undo all the bans regarding cryptocurrencies. The probability of that is high imo, but not 100%.

I think the appropriate option and most likely the most correct will be to invest in all the above listed projects, breaking your money into equal shares. I think that this will increase opportunities for earning

i think Ethereum and NEO are two of the most altcoins have the greatest potential to develope and dominate the market in the future. you should invest in these two altcoins and spilt your money in half to invest, ETH is the most popular altcoins and has huge community supporting it , NEO has its own unique blockchain and huge china community supports, they can all rise higher and better in the future.

The risk is still lingering even if it's very low. Ethereum could still have a sudden crash, people will panic though the price should cause it to be low for years.

I think of ETH to be the best possible option out of all other coins and especially for a person who is having some good expertise in trading will surely be able to make out very good amount of money if he opted for trading of ETH.

Other than ETH, you can also go for ripple and lite coin etc. too but all these coins are preferable for short term investment of money and you should go for them only when you are willing for day trading only.

why don't you divide your $2,500 the altcoins that you mentioned, I'm sure you can make profit with these altcoins, but if I choose only one to invest maybe I choose ethereum its good for long term investment. 

I've chosen Waves, but also i would buy NEO for 1000$, because it's also a great cryptocurrency. You can cross out Bcash and Gas from your investment plan, because this 2 coins have not any potencial for growth in future.

If I had to pick from your list...Bitcoin Cash and Etherium surely. They are the most stable and not risky on this moment, however in my opinion you must not listen someone's advices and have to choose by yourself.

These are the coins that will take itself to the future. What I mean is these coins will give you awesome profits in the future. These coins are good for long term hodls.

I am certainly will recommend you to buy NEO or if you don't want this coin, then go buy Eth. Neo is the greatest coin to hodl. By the end of this year, it will be 1k usd.

You can not predict which coin will rise in price most strongly after a while. Anything can happen. Therefore, I advise you to diversify your capital between the listed coins.

I put most of my money in NEO as my crypto-bank.

This is since NEO pays me a generous 4 to 6 %/year worth in terms of NeoGAS + it is pretty stable and its price is expect to only get stronger into 2018.

ETH is a safe bet, however there is a war brewing against the ETC community making it unstable + any significant improvement on it will be slow due to the already large user-base (demanding backward-compatibility + consensus amongst miners). Also due to its already very high MCAP, the %Gain possible is so much lower than what NEO can easily accomplish (given the same amount of new investors injection of funds).

VeChain will be doing the same soon once the VEN token gets linked to their new "Thor" coupled currency.

There are some ppl who are speculating on NeoGAS as a much better buy in the shorter term than NEO, as the demand for GAS will skyrocket as more NEO-based ICO pops up; while NEO's value (the stock issued that generates GAS) will increase significant as the amount in circulation reaches its max supply.

Also I do not trust the WAVEs team, and had sold all my waves coins after finding out that they have plagiarized code from the super hardworking and capable Cardano team of PhDs w/o even crediting them. Also the very need of Wave's team to use other team's codes do not speak well of their own ability to innovate and competence IMO.

my advice, because your capital is not too much, find a coin that has a low price, because even if the price of the coin is only up slightly, but you will get a better profit than you buy coins that have a high price ;)

I suggest that you invest in the ETH, because at present most of the ICO project is to raise ETH, and many of the ICO project based on ETH issue, so the ETH potential is enormous, but I don't suggest you buy Dogecoin, because the Dogecoin has lost the maintenance of team.

The most reliable attachment on your list is ETH. The platform has proven its efficiency and relevance. Neo+Gas has a lot of hype and marketing around it and i'm not sure it's safe investment, but risks are pretty low. Waves don't look very srtong, i have a feeling that the market is not interested in this coin. And in conclusion - Bcash. I would never recommend to invest in this coin, but the idea to trade this coin and take part in it's pumps is not bad ;)

You could split that money up, I don't think investing in one specific coin is a good idea.

You need to diversify your portfolio and not invest everything in a single coin. I would add IOTA and Nano to the list as these are the biggest innovations in crypto world currently. You can also look into OmiseGO with the plasma coming in few quarters it is primed to pump.

All of them are safe bets but not sure about Waves. I'm not really following Waves development or progress so not sure about that.

It's better to invest into less coins if they are properly research. Investing in 10+ coins is only worth it if you have a lot of time to analyze them.

I think by reading this thread the most important thing ist knowing that the future will always surprise us.

Waves will be the best option if u want a great profit, they have been working all this time, great platform, the DEX Is one of a kind too try them out

From your list, I will suggest to invest in ETH and Neo. You will be able to receive Gas just by staking Neo.

for trade bitcoin Cash. all the rest for a long term investment. but at the moment it is too early to invest somewhere.
