Title: ICO's Where does all that money come from?
Post by: thinklab71 on February 26, 2018, 02:26:57 AM
With all the ICO's going on, do people really invest in all the ICO's they can hopping one would hit?   Is that the game plan for most?   Bet on 99 but only needs 1 to make a profit?

Smart investors go to profitable ICO's only. Scam ICOs are for newbies only to loose their money

It seems to me that scam ICO is not as much as you imagine. Also, few projects will show great success, but it more than 1 to 99.

All the money comes from investors, concerning the questions you asked about the project to invest into, you can't just be investing into any project blindly, and hoping for some of them to make you profit, the difference in the space between those making profit and not is research, you need to read more about different projects to be able to find real value for our money

Yeah dude and the fuel of these ICOs sadly is the money made from a handful of them in the years prior of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Some people have too much funds and they will continuously fund these projects in the hope they make more than they spend, not caring about the quality of the projects or what that means for the industry. It is kind of sad system we have on going and one can only hope it changes drastically soon, because last thing I want to see is hundreds if not thousands of useless projects getting funded.

I'm sure most people do their research before investing. I really don't think there's a whole lot of people just pumping money into every ico in hopes one would hit. That would be pretty stupid. Much better idea to research the project and team as much as you can before you invest.

thats not the idea of the many ICOs we have, as far as i know the world has so many industries that could need the blockchain right about now and if all these industries be it health, banking, insurance, asset management and many more are not fully using this technology expect more of these ICOs untill we disrupt the system to the crypto one.

There are different types of investors.
First, there are investors who are buying on presale because they will receive bonus and when token hit exchange they will make some profit.
Then there are investors who believe project will become big and that they will make nice profit from it.
And there are gamblers, investors who are buying all what they can buy hoping that they will hit 1000X ICO, if you understand what I mean.

preferably before following ico we should see the prospect first, see the website, team, design if the website is clear it is not a scam, like bitcoinus savedroid, their website is clear. and many are already investing there.

Looking into a statue like the statue of Liberty 🗽 it look like a simple to someone but have you ever thinks how much time and effort it need to be build up aside from the budget? Same like the ICO at first they need main investor for the fund, second they lunched their pre sale to have a look that their target is being achieved and the rest, Funds are already their when they started and money keeps on coming when they have the nice method to advertise their project.

It's going to be hard for mexican cartels to launder money with ICO because most of them will ask for a lot of information about you, and you need to pass the AML and KYC. Before it was very easy, you just give them your btc or ether and they will give you their tokens. Now there are lots of regulation and I think it makes crypto looks more legit.

With such money laundering, you can lose a lot of it. Where did you get this information from? Can you provide proof?
