Title: Bringing KIN to the masses
Post by: yoel.ri on February 26, 2018, 10:18:11 AM
Hi all,

I'm the community manager for Kin.

In a nutshell: Kin (KIN) is a decentralized cryptocurrency token issued on Ethereum, an open-source public blockchain. It was created by Kik Interactive in September 2017 in a token distribution event, raising over $98 million from 10,000 participants. The purpose of the token is to facilitate value transfers in digital services such as gaming applications and social media, and will initially be launched on the Kik messenger to leverage the application's 15 million monthly active users. Use of Kin over other tokens is incentivized by providing a daily reward to developers of these digital services based on their usage.

I'd really love to get a genuine opinion.
Have you heard of Kin? What is your standpoint about the project?

Kin is aiming to bring crypto to the masses. In Q2-Q3 of 2018 we will be announcing major partnerships with B2C companies, a full implementation of Kin's SDK's and the launch of our Kin Reward Engine (KRE - our monetisation mechanism). There's a lot to come and I'd love to get your insights.

We're super active on Telegram and Reddit and I want to ask you as crypto experts how you think we, Kin, should engage and educate the masses on what we're doing and maybe crypto in general.

What are your thoughts?

You wrote all that and couldn't include one sentence in your post about what KIN is?  You'll be get much better engagement if you provide people with some information!
