Is it a time for bitcoin hodl or sale? Please suggest me!

This time this is the best to Hold or HODL because Holding Bitcoin is not scary and My prediction price on Dec 2018 is $50000 because this is happen on Dec 2017 The price of Bitcoin on Jan 2017 is dumping then on December 2017 it pumps and it hits $20000

Yeah, it is time to buy and hold BTC. However, 50k $ is too high price for BTC in 2018 year, I think 20-30k more expected

i think you should consider how much profit did you lost, if you lost more than 40$ of your profit then you should sell to cut loss, it wont have any value at all, you should hold until the price is pumped in the future, be patient and believe bitcoin will keep rising more, it still have a long future to survive in this crypto market.

I agree with you everybody should hold Bitcoin because bitcoin price will be $60K in this year 2018. so don't panic about this matter. now bitcoin price is some low but it will recover very soon.

I can tell you only what i´m doing: Hodl. I think with a little patience there are some signs that it will grow again in some months.

For this time that the price is low maybe it is best to buy for more and then hold for bitcoins price will rise and hit to the moon in the nearest period of time. Bitcoins price is volatile and if this will rise it will rise and rise so better hold and buy if ever you have money for it.

I have been asking myself that same question for the past many months and the answer I always get is HODL! Maybe the best time to let go of our Bitcoin was when it reached its own zenith at almost $20,000. Right now, Bitcoin is struggling to hold on to the $10,000 level though the whole market is quite hopeful that soon it will be surging again big time. Let's just continue on having faith on Bitcoin.

1) What price did I buy it at.

3) If I don't sell it what's worst case scenario.

4) Do I need the funds now or I can wait for profits which shall come later.

5) What is my risk appetite in case of fluctuations.

6) What goals had I in my mind when I decided to purchase it.

7) If it goes zero ( This FYI will never happen but just a scenario)

I believe that we are in the last phase of correction process that took place just after the massive price rally in the last quarter of the last year so selling now doesn't make any sense from investor's point of view as I don't see any reason for Bitcoin to fall even further so in my opinion, I think it is either buy or hodl time considering short or super long term.

i think as for now hold is a good choice because bitcoin price as for now is low for sure bitcoin price will rise soon and sell it when you feel bitcoin will fall again, but hold is the best way to make a alot of money, just trust in bitcoin.

On a general note, it is better to hold and sell at intervals. But considering the current state of the market - which is a little bit bearish, it is advisable to sell if you have made some profit on your investment, but if the current market has gone against you, it is then advisable to Hold.

Buy in dip and hodl for long term. For now , 8K$ is the ideal value to buy, and hodl until december this year , and expect 50K$ value . Its also up to you , when the value reach 20K$ then you can sell it and buy when dip again. THat is the cycle of bitcoin in the market.

Depends on your buy price. Currently the price is near double to its last bottom. So, it is a safe price. There is currently no news and so price movement is very limited. We need some news for a price pump. Unless it's an emergency you should avoid selling your Bitcoins. Hold till you are in profit if you are currently in loss.

It wont hurt to do it. There is no regret afterwards. You just get sad for a moment and then goes back to think you are still a winner when you know you have bitcoin in your wallet.

Honestly, I sold for the first time a few weeks ago. I sold a big part of my Bitcoin portfolio.

I really don't think 2018 will be the best year for Bitcoin but this is my personal opinion. Too many regulations coming soon especially in Europe.

I think I'd sell at least half of Bitcoin.  It could go up or down from here.  So keep half and sell half would be best.  If it goes down you can buy more with the money you get from selling half and at a cheaper price.  If it goes up then you still have some left to sell at a higher price.  I don't think there will be any great boom in the next few weeks.  And if it goes down I won't be too surprised. 

As for now i suggests you to hodl. Bitcoin is very unpredictable which can be a risky if you hodl but super worth if it succeed. If you're an investor just invest on it, study charts and datas and do not speculate on prices and will base your decision on other's opinion. Even here on forum, don't based your decision making on what you have read. Hodl now have a great benefit later!

you have to have read the general advice being given to others in similar threads as reactorjuno states - which is HODL

Everyones situations are different and if you need to liquidate your Bitcoin into FIAT or something like that, go ahead,
because we cannot advise you on such things if your mortgage is due or other bills that gave to be paid.

But the general rule with seasoned bitcoiners who dont trade on a daily basis is HODL

It depend in your situation mate,if you really need to use money then you can sell it,but if not then it is good to hodl for the moment.Bitcoin is not yet recovering from a deep fall,just wait for it to fully recover so you don't regret after.

In my views, you should hold Bitcoin at this time.
This is not a good time to sell Bitcoin as the prices are relatively lower. If you wait for 2 or 3 months you might get a good value for your BTC as the prices will be enough high till  that time.

If you will look atthe charts now you can see that it might form an eliot wave. That means after the correction happens it will be followed by a new market High's.

Well for me it is better to hold your investment than sell it. The only thing you would do to bitcoin if you sell your investments is hindering bitcoin's chance to an increase. Bitcoin's value is very volatile and could change even with the slightest cash-out or cash-in. So for me it is both suitable to hold bitcoins than sell it. You would have a chance at a bigger increase, and you are not hurting bitcoin's value.

It has had a downward trend for more than one day before. I remember it happening like a month ago. It went slowly down for a few years straight at one point. I'm not saying don't do what you want but considering how utterly wrong your statement is I'd think about maybe being more patient because it's only the beginning of the third day. It's also possible it's correcting after a 25x year but it will probably go back up. Pull backs are healthy.

Yes you should but for me, I will choose both, to hold and to sell. You must need to be updated in bitcoin on when you must hold it and when you must sell it. When the price is low then you nust hold it but when the price is becoming more higher, you must sell it if ever you wanted. But all you must need to do is to plan everything for you to not do something wrong and to not lose all your money.

I do not think you should ask such questions. You can hold if you want or sell if you are worried about not being able to go up.
But I advise you to hold Bitcoin for the common good when everyone holds no one sells meaning that it will go up and hard to dump.

I think there is not just a hold and sell but there is one less that is buy, There are 3 time is the beginning of the year is suitable to Buy as much as possible and after that hold up to mid year then you sell your coins.

The best thing to do right now is just hold your coins because the value of every cryptocurrency in the market right now is very high and it came back to normal which is $10k. Don't take it as financial advice, but the best policy in my experience is to have a portfolio consisting of both Bitcoin and the best alts money can buy. You want a good mix of crypto index tokens, dividend tokens, day trading tokens, utility tokens, etc. Like with most things in life - balance is key. If not, you need to have a rather strong constitution to stomach the risks attached to having exposure to only Bitcoin. That being said, buying and holding 1 Bitcoin and then expanding from there into alts as income allows probably wouldn't hurt too much. Again, nothing is guaranteed - it could go to zero.

I think this time  is the best to Hold.  Of course I understand that technical analysis and basic analysis are very important! but this is in my mind sell $20,000 and buy 6000 - 10000 between, It's that simple. HODL needs to be not scared! you should not sell at low price.

As of now I think the best thing to do is to hold all your bitcoins right now, because i think bitcoin price now has a good improvement after it drops so hard last January.
