Title: Bitcoin Electrum Wallet - is this a different wallet than the ZClassic Electrum
Post by: davidpmossop on February 26, 2018, 05:19:15 PM
Hello,
Noobie here. Sorry if not the correct forum.  I'm trying to prep for BTCP.  My understanding is that if I have my BTC in an Electrum wallet, I will be able to collect BTCP.  I already have the ZCL Electrum wallet.  Is the Bitcoin Electrum wallet different?  Can I have both Electrum wallets simultaneously?

That's right. For every BTC you have, you will receive 1 BTCP. When the network is live, you can open your Electrum BTC wallet into the Electrum version for BTCP and spend your coins.

Is the Bitcoin Electrum wallet different?
Yes. You can only see and spend the coins if you are in the right version.

Can I have both Electrum wallets simultaneously?
Yes.
