I think you will hear from many on here that newb's should just slowly accumulate the top cryptos by marketcap. They are essentially the safest with less risk.

If you have never traded in the conventional stock market before, crypto's is not a good place to learn as you can get wiped out really fast due to the extreme volatile nature of these assets.

Should I trade coin ?

Why are you asking us? This is a decision that you yourself should make. It's pretty much almost like asking us if you should get a job or what kind of pizza should you have for dinner.

If you're in profit you cant really go wrong.. the easiest thing to do however is focus on your entry more than your exit..all I hear anyone talk about is when to sell.. worry more about "when to buy"... buying when something is heavily retraced has a much higher chance of getting to great returns over something going into unexplored highs..hence bitcoin is much likelier to make it from 6k to 12k than it is from 12k to 24k.. and certainly much more likely than 20-40k or 40-80k... anyways you get my point... the better the buy in price, the lower the risk.. and going into profit quicker means position trading becomes alot easier...

Lets say for example you buy TRX (Tron) at 400 sats.. if it goes to 600 sats and you feel like that is the top then you can sell most of it.. if the market continues going up and leaves you.. who cares? You can then sell your other stack.. if it goes back to 400.. even better.. now buy 50% more with the stack you just sold.

You really can't lose being emotionally unattached to coins and selling them in profit.. if you worry about the coin going to the moon later, then keep your profits you made from the trade as free coins and just break even back to BTC if thats a strategy you would like to follow.

I never think its too late or too early to start trading.. as long as your disciplined and don't fomo into your buy position.. and are in profit in your sell position...theres almost nothing in trading thats important besides common sense.. TA may min/max your entry exits a bit better.. but most of trading is really being less emotional and less greedy or less scared than the traders standing around you.

if you have been trading before, for example trading stocks, then you can start your cryptocurrency journey by starting to trade them carefully but if you are new to both cryptocurrencies and trading then you should absolutely stay away from trading because you will just lose money.

if you are new and interested in trading then start by first learning more about trading and how it works. then start watching the crypto market for a while before jumping in, try to see and understand the unpredictability of it. and eventually start small and work your way up.

If you want realy profit this is the plan:
1) invest in ICO's & get your profit x2
2) bounty campaigns
3) trading&arbitrage
4) cruptocurrency(telegrambot,localbitcoins...)
5) mining(altcoins)
Good luck!  8)

From my experience after the coins are distributed to our own wallet. Surely we expect the price of coins the same or not far with the price of ICO.
But sometimes after the market is open the next 1 day the price has fallen far from the price of ICO. So, my advice if you need money jaullah your coins when the first market open. but if the tokens are good and you do not need money then, hold that token and sell when the token project platform is officially released. definitely token price will be high.

At first you should research crypto and blockchain technology to know how it work. Then you could research top coins from https://coinmarketcap.com/ to get an idea on what's which projects could bring profit in the future. And after that you would search for promising ICO and their coins to invest into.

If day trading is what takes your fancy then go ahead. But there is much more profitability in holding a majority of what you accumulate. As it goes higher, sell off a bit. Good luck

First of all, welcome on the forum. As you said you are new to the cryptocurrency world, I would recommend you to spend maximum time in reading valuable topics/posts and learn about this world. If you are interested in trading then spend some time in understanding, how things work and try to analyse the situation.

Do invest your $100 worth of time before investing your actual $10 money so you will be in a better situation to understand the whole scenario and learn from the mistakes.

In cryptocurrencies you are more likely to earn more if you just hodl a coin than trading. If you aren't experienced in trading then you shouldn't dive into it. You need to research into this field for at least few months then think about anything.

it depends on your goals! if its just to learn and understand how it all works

I think small trading its fine and you can understand how everything works, the fees, which exchanges are best to use and so on

later on u could consider joining some ICO after some more advanced research!

If you're planning to be a trader, then that means you need to have a deep understanding about the law of supply and demand that will help you for sure. The decision is always yours whether what path you are going to take. Just remember what experts say that "Do not invest  something that you can't afford to lose".

One of the biggest mistakes I made in the beginning was to trade too frequently (e.g., day trading). It is very difficult, and essentially impossible for newbies, to predict the way the market will go. Rather, it is best to bet on the overall development of the crypto market by spreading investments over some of the better-known, higher-market cap coins, and then keeping that investment over a long period of time, as gains are usually found over the medium and long-term unless you get lucky; whereas luck itself very rarely lasts even into the medium term.

I also think that it is best to read a lot at the beginning. Read everything you can, at least that's what I did. Then I started with small amounts of money, to experiment. ;)

Always make your own decisions.

I believe it depends on how much time do you want to spend in trading. To me, there are several steps to follow before even begin to do so:
1. Read about the cryptos you are interested in. Not all the crytos have the same system. They are thousands of them currently on the market, so making a research about them before even thinking on trading will give you a whole panorama and you will be able to make better decisions.
2. Once you choose your top 10, and your plan B and C, just study their behavior for at least a week. You will understand who they are moving, and what kind of movements seems to have some logic.
3. Just buy those you choose and begin the trade. But do not use too much money. This is similar to gambling, do not forget that, and you can loose everything. So just begin with the expendable amount you consider to be ok.
4. Spend some time trading in this way. I am sure you will see how rules can change, but there is always a kind of patron. When you understand it, feel prepare to trade a little bit more confident.

Now, trading implies to expend hours in front of your computer, and weeks, even months, just watching and learning.
Try to learn a bit every single day, but also avoid rush. If you enter into the trading world with rush and no patience, then it is going to be easy for you to loose money.
Another advice: be careful with people offering to trade with your money. If somehow you feel it is a good idea to trust anybody else, just make an investigation about him/her/them before giving away your money.

Be patience, take your time. To learn how to trade is slow and needs all your time and patience.
I hope you to success, and happy trading!

My experience is usually when the new coins out on the market first time the price corresponds to the price of ICO, after which the price drops continuously. so advise sara exchange early. but if you see the potential of such coins well in the future it would not hurt to hold the coins until the price rises more expensive.

I would agree with the majority here - if you are new - then you don't have to take any risky movements/decisions.
but if you still wish to trade or to exchage some coins to another coins then you can try using any exchange though it may take 2-3 weeks for KYC to verify...
I came across coinmonkey.io platform - it's a sort of scanner/exchanger which gets exchange rates from exchanges and you can actually perform transaction right at their website via api widget from the exchange, and no registration needed. right from your wallet and you receive coins to your wallet.

You are better off hodling your coins than trading them and ending up losing them. Also according to stats you are likely going to make more return if you just hedl your coins then if you were trading with them.

First of all, welcome! It's definitely possible to learn how to trade coins (look into BitStamp or GDAX). However, if you want less risk with your money, it's advised to start small, learn about market trends, which coins are doing well, etc. You can start buy purchasing some of the main coins through Coinbase...it's not the best for day-trading since the fees are higher, but it'll give you a good idea of how everything works.

Hope this helps! Good luck  :)

I started by reading a bunch of whitepapers of top coins on coinmarketcap.com. After I understood the technology and where the value comes from(had experience in trading stocks before) I just got my feet wet and put in a really small amount in 3 major coins. It really helps to be more focused and interested when you actually put a little bit of money before you get comfortable with bigger amounts.

Do they scan exchanges? Seems to be a good idea. Actually I havent faced such things before. But the general idea of one place for all exchanges and ability to operate deals without registering is really cool

The standard adage is that 90% of people lose money trading. Of the 10% that gain, only 1% can do it consistently

Pick a good coin than you believe in and just hold it. You will also save on fees!

First you need to learn everything about trading and wallets and transferring your coins so you make sure they don’t get lost because if you send to the wrong address they are gone and that’s it you can’t retreive them again. So I would say learn more about trading and crypto and once you feel comfortable you can trade all you want :)

Trading is for the experts and not newbies.Newbies should start from investing in crypto
currency with viable market cap volumes. Then gradually learn how the crypto coins are
being transacted in the coin market world.Get to learn about exchange platforms and the
ones to trust.Learn trading from experts and do demo for some time to understand the
strategies before going into trading.Trading needs steps of consistent studies.Otherwise,
you are bound to make regrettable mistakes since it involves your finance.Patience is key in trading.
Thanks.

When i started investing in cryptocurrency, i had NO CLUE what i was doing.
I didn't know how to deposit money and transform it into cryptocurrency.
I had no clue how exchanges worked or how verification worked.
I had no clue how wallets worked or how a blockchain actually worked.
I didn't know about tokens and about different cryptocurrency types.
I didn't know about ICO's.
I didn't know about airdrops and bounties.

After 2 months, i am much more comfortable with all these principles, but it is really hard to figure it out at first and navigate through all these principles; you figure it out eventually.

You have to start with a small amount with which you are comfortable and figure out how everything works... you might lose 20$, 50$ figuring out how things work, but if you mess up at the beginning you lose less than if you invest 10,000 $ right at the beginning without a clue as to how things work.

Listen to beginner videos on cryptocurrency, read articles on blockchain, participate in airdrops and bounties to get started.

Please don't do that. You need to read some articles and do some research first. We all know that trading is a huge gamble, without any knowledge on what its all about, you are putting your money at risk. If you have enough knowledge, this will help you know where you can invest your money, knowledge in trading can minimize the risk of losing money. Also, you can try trading now and your experience will teach you how to decide properly in trading. You will lose some money but you will learn from your mistakes.

It's not a matter of time in doing it but if you have spare time to do it then it is good for you. But for now, read some more to gain some knowledge about it then if you already have the basic then it is up to you to trade in.

agree.  accumulation first at the start and study how the market moves and works.  engaging in trading right away might leave you in a hurtful place.  also, do more readings.  basically your stage is a stage of observation and doing one step at a time.

This decision should be taken by you. However, as a newbie (I'm newbie too), I just want to say look for a good coin that is raising in price. Buy it and sell it at a little higher price. Probably 2/3 days later. Do the same for few weeks, you will get used to and understand the theory.
