Title: Mining speculative coins with one gpu...worthwhile?
Post by: johntyb on February 27, 2018, 08:39:17 AM
Hi all,

Mining noob here looking to get into mining new PoW/PoS speculative coins as a way to get masternodes.

Would it be worthwhile me getting a single decent GPU to mine these coins in enough volume, quickly enough to get masternodes?

Or would I be better off buying from exchanges?

Or any other suggestions... Minimum hardware requirements to achieve this?

Thanks

Hi, there is no harm in trying. When you find a newly released coin that you think might have a future then go for it. Mine some and hodl.
Hard to give minimum requiremrnts on hardware on speculative coins but Nvidia GTX 10 series, AMD RX series higher cards and high power CPUs - they all could work.

You cant get masternode with one gpu, because miners with bg rigs using the same tactics.
You can mine some coins and hard hodl it
