Title: [ANN] LONGCOIN NEW PoW SCHEDULED FOR TEST IN TAIWAN IN APRIL!!! Post by: xdy888 on February 27, 2018, 01:02:29 PM Longcoin is a new blockchain being developed here in Taiwan to conduct the processes which together comprise the backend, on the blockchain: from manufacture to sale, and conception to realization. The coins operate on a proof of work basis, and the Formosa Plastics Corp (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 1301), is going to begin testing the protocol at their subsidiary company, Nan Ya Plastics Mailiao branch this coming May.
In anticipation of the testing of the protocol and in part to raise more funds to better develop a standard public use application, we are holding an ICO (date TBD) in order to facilitate further development. Participants in the ICO, and holders of the coins, will be holding a piece of what will become the world's backend processor. Why a separate blockchain instead of Ethereum? Ethereum contracts' gas prices are too high. Customizability? Any entity with highly specialized needs from Longcoin can request us to help them create a fork, which would allow for a tailor made platform, which we, or they could mine, to keep their infrastructure afloat.
