 Apparently, someone (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=298017) has made arrangements to become the official, licensed Bitcointalk account reslller here on Bitcointalk.org though I haven't seen any authorizations, vouches or proofs.  I realize that this board doesn't moderate scams but certainly a line must be drawn somewhere.

 I would hope Theymos is at least getting a cut of this frowned upon activity.  ::)

That's definitely misleading and untrustworthy. Tagged.
But I agree. Something else should be done, at least banning.

That account has been inactive for the past 4-years and came back recently to only post twice and lock the thread. This is either a scam attempt or one of many throw-away accounts used simply to market their farm. At least they've been tagged, but at this point it really feels like this is insufficient; account dealers get tagged these days and this seems to be on another whole level of severity. This is implying as though there was sanctioned certification and approval of this user/organization by staff or theymos. It would be comparable to impersonating a staff member, which is bannable, if I remember right.

Banned and trashed the thread. They've had numerous accounts banned here before and that's obviously a hacked account as that's their first post since December 26, 2014. Pretty sure they're just a scam site though or are at best selling hacked accounts.

 I couldn't have wished for a better outcome.  Thanks for the info and the action!
