It is mainly for gaming stuff but it is for other stuff too like Bitcoin, random talks, etc. The Discord doesn't really have any rules to be honest other than posting porn or gore in the non-NSFW channels.

The layout is designed, I believe, for gamers. This is the reason why they design a night theme, a compact layout with multiple rooms. Discord allows people to create any server they want all for free, you are allowed to change server location any time to any of the servers they offer, the servers are easy to customize, all traffic is ran through Discords servers meaning you cannot get someones IP through the server, etc. |
