Title: Startup Lite Coin mining Post by: Rogue on September 27, 2013, 03:56:52 PM I've been doing BTC mining for some time now. I was wondering if someone could tell me if there's a GUI miner for Lite coin? and if any mining pools exist for litecoin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Guiminer Scrypt: http://guiminer.org/guiminer-scrypt.html I would suggest mining other scrypt base coins, as Litecoin isn't as profitable per hash rate and difficulty. Then converting to LTC or BTC. I already have enough BTC so im just trying to branch out. I would suggest to mine the most profitable scrypt based coin, then convert via trade for LTC and/or BTC. That's how I'm doing it at the moment. Right now, Lotterytickets (TIX), potentially is the best investment, just waiting for it to hit a trade market. I only mine during off peak hours to save on electricity, paying $0.1323 Kw/hr rate. Title: Re: Startup Lite Coin mining Post by: aa on September 28, 2013, 05:41:00 PM http://litecoin.org -- was that really so hard? You couldn't search for the term "Litecoin" on a search engine?
Don't use a shitty GUI miner frontend, it'll cause more issues than anything. Download cgminer.
