This coin requires you to maintain the private key separate. You can't load the coin and give to a friend to transfer bitcoin, you would also need to transfer the private key separately. I assume if you use a hardware wallet you could have one of your public keys engraved and carry the coin as an easy way to accept payment but I see limited utility here. You can just use a wallet on your phone instead. Good luck with your new project!
