Do you think Altcoin that is less than $1 at this moment is a good buy? Altcoin such as Ripple ($0.9898), XEM ($0.9890), etc.

IMO Zilliqa (https://coincodex.com/crypto/zilliqa/) has the most potential.

Dollar valuations are useless. Some coins are valued at a really high price, but that's because their supply is really low. The overall marketcap is low compared to the ratio of supply:demand.

You should be looking at the fundamentals, available supply, final supply, inflation rate... and then decide if the coin is underrated or is just another shitcoin about to stagnate forever.

For ripple does not seem (I think) For xem maybe yes (They will release Catapult in May). Perhaps I think that potential enough is ardor or zcoin (Zcoin Price about $ 50~). Good luck then!

IMO XRP and XEM are good and projects. Although the community doesn't like the XRP as its centralized but if you see at the amount of partnerships then you'll see it has a potential and recently they released their another whitepaper for peer review in which they are talking about how to decentralize their setup..  I am holding both XEM and XRP for long term.

there's a lot of atlcoins that lies below $1 like XLM and XRP. but my money is on UTK. $0.2 as of now 3x the ICO price but the ATH is $1.4 The platform will present this april 19 sponsored by google, microsoft and paypal.

I think Cardano and Stellar good to buy now. These coins are solid both in market cap, coin supply and the price.

Altcoins priced below 1 usd is always good but not too much supplied coins such as Ripple and Nem. These coins are cheap because there is a huge amount of total supply out there. You need to find real chep coins that have low amount of supply

Are you just checking USD price of altcoin considering? It is a wrong way to do that. Consider, you have an altcoin which is 10 cent, but supply is 10 billion. Would you still invest it to make your money 10x? Is it possible?

Ripple has unclear prospects, as it is not a free currency, it depends very much on the decisions of government officials.

You are doing it wrong. Look at the marketcap NOT price for potential growth. That is what deems the potential growth not the price!

These coins react strongly to the bitcoin course.  It was necessary to buy these coins two weeks ago, when they were completely at the bottom and you could get the maximum profit from them.  If you buy them now, then you still get a profit from them at least x3 by the end of the year.  There are many prerequisites for this.

Just want to remind you that just because the coin is trading under $1 doesn't mean it is cheap. You'd have to factor in the market cap as well to gauge the full prospects of your investment.

Take TRON for example, price per CMC = $0.045010. Market cap = $2.959 Billion. The price can deceive you. A 20x from here would still have this coin under 1$, yet the market cap would be > $50 billion.

Yeah and hold it for years then maybe you get rich if the price increase . Try also TRX or tron it's  a good token and also possible to increase as well .

Check out Leviarcoin XLC... roughly 15 cents and very low market cap of around 2 000 000. Great potential in this coin as it is going through a hardfork and full codebase change to monero code on March 1st (tomorrow)

One coin I really love under $1 is hive.
They target eastern european markets and have very similar project to populous. They were on Slovenian tv too. They are now trying to get better contact with businesses in Turkey & Latin America. They also launched their demo not so many days ago.
When it will be launched, we will see pump to $1, I believe. (10x)

Ripple and XEM are not good example in that case. I mean, XEM is really great choice, it has greatest community and you can join it, but this coin is kinda grown for the market already, so if you buy it - dont wait that it will give you easy profit in short term. XEM is real long term, perfect Java code, agreements, community - all is good.

But if you want to make some profit in short term - look for some small projects that have entered the market not long time ago.
For example - BitWhite. Low supply, low price, but great technology. Who knows maybe this coin will be in top-20 in a year. And with small cap coins you can make more than with others. But risks, dont forget about risks. XEM will not leave in one day

I agree with you. I also think that Syscoin is a really good coin. For sure, it will bring a good profit in the near future.

If you want to find cheap altcoins, you need to look at the roadmap of campaigns and on the community.

In my personal opinion BTW ($0,14), REBL ($0,05), XVG ($0,05), BTS ($0,22) have a HUGE potential and we will see growth in 2018 for sure.

As it has been already stated, the price per 1 coin does not indicate anything. If you don't have much money, you'd better buy very few good coins (or even a part of it, for example it is OK to buy even 0,01 BTC) rather then get thousands of cheap but useless shitcoins.

I think it is worth to take a good look at Oyster PRL. It is still very cheap, the project is amazing and potential is promising. I think it will definitely be worth to buy some, just be sure to buy before April 6th. Some altcoins is good although the price is not so expensive. You can't determine the quality of the project only depend on price. I just know that there is a token Called ITR that the price is less than $1, although its a big project. I doing many observation at this time.

NEM is a really good choice, because it is a strong project. Most likely it will be multiplied several times till the end of 2018, because previous years showed just a perfect performance!

Ripple is under $1 and it can increase in value again. It was about 4 dollars last year and was the fastest growing coin last year even faster than bitcoin.

But I don't know how much higher it will go this year.

Ripple is a good buy because it will comeback again probably before the year ends. Add to you portfolio the XEM, ADA, XLM and some others with potential. They have strong community supporter and  this will have a bigger gains when market is bullish.

Don't look at the price, look at market cap and opportunity to grow. Also look at circulating supply. Market cap ÷ circulating = approx price of the coin. It is a beginner's mistake, ripple for instance, has a smaller chance in gains as neo. Because ripple is already in top 3.

I have high esteem for coins below $1, they usually come in a surprise way when it's comes to their volatility, they may double in price unexpectedly, for example... Ripple last year, it's price was 4x higher than today.

Strange question. What the difference how many is worth currency. The main thing is economic technology, a product that is embedded in the coin code. :o

Bought this two at all time high but I don't regret buying it since I believe on this coins. I just really hope that the crypto market will make some improvements soon reagrding the price as I miss my port in green trend just like last year.

There are a lot of altcoins under $1 these days and I think it is a good time to buy some of it. Aside from ADA (Cardano) and XLM (Stellar) I also bought TRX that time, I am also watching BDG, NEM and ELIX.

I like asian coins under 1$ like Bottos , INT , KEY  but there are some nice ones like DNA ,SNM ,SNC ,HVN ....

at the moment I do not believe much in altcoin because unclear altcoins often experience drastic price reductions. at this time I believe more in BTG, ETH, LTC AND BCH. although the price is quite expensive but the coin is clear and sure, this coin will not experience a very low price decline and the price often rises if bitcoin also experienced price increases

The price solely can be deceiving. You better should pay attention to circulating supply and total supply, a coin under one dollar doesn`t necessary mean it will ever go to $100 or more. And always keep in mind the market capitalization, for example today Bitcoin`s is $179 billion and circulating supply is 16.9 million coins.

Their are too many of them, I think people are too focused on coins that have already done a good 100x-1000x and we should be focusing on new coins with big projects and big advisors because they are the ones that will give us a good profit. Just look at the new released coins, almost all coins under .10 with a coin supply of 400 million or less have big potential
