V2 asic blade's Backplanes

The HP DPS 800GBA or ATSN 7001044-Y000  psu are too noisy, quite custom desktop PC PSU can be used but im wondering can the psu be connected to the backplane instead of individual blades?

where the psu plugs in if you look on left and right there is those inserts..

Left side is 12v+ and other is ground..
so does this mean you connect 12v+ wires on left and ground wire on the right side?

Would a 1000watt quite pc psu be enough power to power all 10 blades?

I haven't seen any documentation regarding the side power connectors.  I don't see why they wouldn't work well as long as get enough power to them.  But I think you're on your own as far as determining the best way to rig them up.

I'm pretty sure that a 1000w PSU is quite adequate for the V2 blades since you can't overclock them.  The HP DPS is only 800w and I'm running 8 blades with no issues.  And I don't think it's too noisy either but I have it stashed in another room with other equipment running.
