A great number of this Ann and airdrop are fake project or scam. I don't trust airdrops anymore. It's only a waste of time.

as far as i know another scam airdrop usually must donate to project,

bounty programs are always better than airdrops
earn a little less but you will make out something out of it you will not be biting your nails in the end

I have just started working on airdrops this week. Some people told me that many do not really give but you can still find some that really pay. Some airdrops are even asking donation before they give your token. Some even take personal data from you by posing that the ICO is giving an airdrop even though it is not. Beware of such things. Scams are common nowadays.

Honestly, this is the first time I've heard that you have to pay something to participate in airdrop. I pay attention to some of them, from my own experience I can say that there is a profitable airdrop.

Yes your right almost all of airdrop right now is all scam, so if the people try to get airdrop be careful and be ware to choose always.

We have many airdrop like that. Like literally many, some even need minimum amount of their token in our wallet to join the airdrop and some need to send a little amount of Ether (>$0.1) to get it.

I believe most of these airdrops are a scam, only a few are legit. It would be better to research a bit before joining any airdrops.

I see no reason to participate in airdrop. 95% of airdrop are worthless tokens. And at the same time a very small percentage of what you get. Therefore, in my opinion - this is a waste of time.

Bounty is more better I guess to earn token/coin.

i miss old time when there only one or two new ICO and airdrops every week, now almost everyday new coin born with lot of airdrop but actualy worth nothing, kinda wasting time and now for almost three mont im never fill any form for airdrop.

How can airdrop itself be a scam? Of course, if they asking for some kind of deposit before airdrop - it's definitely a scam. there will be 2 options - the will get away with all money r3eceived or try to create Ponzi scheme.

Not all airdrop scam. But right now they have become so much that normal find almost impossible, I have also refused to participate in airdrop.

many of the airdrops now turn to scam. better joined bounty campaign and do some task than wasting your time joining airdrops.
on the other hand, airdrops is free so free money is good.

Thanks for pointing out this issue with Airdrops. I have been in some occasions scammed by this Airdrop groups flying here and there. They will ask you to donate from 0.05 - 1 Ether as donation to support the listing of the coin. Once they get the money off the people that will be the end of the Airdrop. Please guys any Airdrop that require a donation please do not do it.

It is a scam because the ANN thread mention a token like BAT. But it's not from official team of the token.

We don't know what they are aiming. But better to stay away from it.

 In addition most of these airdrop coins have no value at all in the market and will be just in addition to crap coins then some of these are is just like a phishing sites in which they will ask you to input username and passwords and some are asking for private keys or you might wrongly input your private keys instead of wallet address. I have 2 friends that they wrongly input the private keys in which their coins gone after a few hours.

I believe you specially about pro token, our hard works get no compensation. Actually, we didn't know where's scam or not because each airdrop look's same for me. Easy work and get payment make me become airdrop hunter but decides to leave it now. If you have other information about scam airdrop or maybe ICO program please share with us and thank you very much.

It's too bad there are so many scam airdrops because I actually prefer an air drop over and Initial coin offering. Too me it is less risky and gives you time to get out if you don't agree with the community behind the project. Deep onion has been one of the best air drops I have participated in so far and they still have 9 weeks left of airdrops. Hope to find more legitimate airdrops to join soon.

Not all airdrops are scam. You just have to Find a good one.

Airdrop can easily catch people by showing some big rewards to be given. The more the amount is too big the more scam. I'm not saying that all airdrops is scam but rather easily to scam those people who attracted. The more easy coin to get the more regrets at the end.

You have a good heart for prospective victim of scam mate,and for that i Salute you this kind of post are woth reading for.because this concerns the money.effort and time of every accounts that only needd to gain,but end up being scammed by this damn scammers.

So it's not completly free. It's just like if you buy a lottery ticket that you pay with your time... you loose very often and sometimes win a little. :)

My experience : approx 550 airdrops form filled in 3 month ==> 43 received ==> 39 of value <$2  and only 1 of good value (Polymath)
So now I'm more in bounties than airdrops...

Airdrop that requires donation is not an airdrop, It's a waste of time participating in airdrop most of them are shitcoins.

I'll highly recommend bounty program which is LEGIT slowly but surely. ;)

In general, I try to participate in the airdrops from the bounty. Time is spent very little, but the result can be overwhelming. Who does not take risks, he does not drink champagne  ;)

It is better to know first about the background of airdrop you wanted to participate even if the tokens are freely distributed. There are really scammers that are running their own airdrop. I also remember an airdrop asking for donation which seems to be very obvious as a scam airdrop only.

Free cheese is only in a mousetrap! Airdrops cause little confidence, especially those who are asked to make a donation, but people are so trusting and want to make quick money, and scammers are always using it.

Main reason Etherdelta Hack Even forkdelta exists people not believing on them . So airdrop is loosign value participating airdrop no more profitable . I think now we can join NEO based airdrop once NEXO exchange starts.

Dont trust airdrops right now you should do some bounty campaigns because bounties are more profitable than you imagine airdrop are just wasting your time because most of them are scam and others need to donate

Right now i only join airdrop from bounty i joined than join unknown project. I know not all airdrop are bad,  but i rather prepare than make mistake.

My advice for other better double check before joining airdrop and never donate, because 99% airdrop asking donate are scam

Nowadays legit airdrop is hard to find. But there is one or two legit airdrop out there .
Maybe join bounty will be more profitable compared to airdrop these days.

I think that there is no best method to know wheter an AIRDROP is a SCAM. But the best way to avoid being scam is not to invest on it. I have joined a lot of Airdrops but if it requires an amount of donation i always turn it down. Because what i know about Airdrops is that it is for free.

Airdrop generally never attract someone else to invest mainly because it was made out of thin air and released by anonymous people. Only people who buying it through exchange can be considered as investor and most of people get the airdrop for free.
Even though I'm still confused why people are still buying this crap coin but it's simply better to get out from this kind of airdrop, it may have intention as for example to steal your sensitive data.

Airdrops sometimes come to the wallet after 3 months after registration. Therefore, if you did not receive the coin a month after the end of the ICO, this absolutely means nothing, maybe later. If it's even a scam project, by registering a form for airdrops, you do not lose anything.

Scam airdrops are flooding in this forum and in telegram groups especially those that required donation. Anyway airdrops has low success rate if it land to exchange then it's successful if not then it became shitcoin.

It's inevitable especially when many ICO occur nowadays !
All we can do are always be careful and do not trust something so fast. Just make some research and research before try to invest in.

There are so many scammy airdrops existing in this world guys. They are just waiting for you to drop your private key so that they can steal easily what's insidr your wallet. Becareful and be more focused while joining airdrop forms.

maybe a stupid question but, what problem could you get from a scam airdrop? If you use simple sercurity steps like setting up new email/eth Adress/twitter/telegram Account etc., ist there still a risk left? Of course you should never send someone coins for a Airdrop.

You need carefull when join to bounty program! Most of bounty is best but some bounty have scam or not pay!

In airdrop you will be asked to fill in personal information, in my opinion, most of them are scammers. Do not trust your data, let alone send money to them.

I never join any Airdrops this year because last year I already promised myself not to join any Airdrops because they're just scams, fraud and bogus.
They only want you email address, you identities and other personal informations.
Airdrops made my wallet full of shit coins as well. That's why I never trust any airdrops this year and I rather join bounty campaigns, they're worth the wait, time and efforts.

Interesting to see how airdrops turn out to be scams all of the sudden. It's getting hard to finder good coins.

I dont quite understand why people are still joining these worthless airdrops? because it isnt worth the hassle joing bounty campaigns are a lot better because the tokens you will receive has a greater chance of getting listed on exchanges unlike to those tokens you got from these airdrops ,it has least chance of getting some value in the future.

Im sure not all of us are getting aware on these, and more members in here are participating airdrops because it easy job and money as they know but they know it could only lead them into hacking of accounts and email add. Though some airdrops are legit but it new nearly 5%, that's why it is better if we not engage in these anymore.

Since I joined this forum, I never been scammed by any means of losing money into crypto related investments. The things that only wasted are my time and efforts and that's why I don't join any Airdrops since the first day of this year because my wallet was full of shit coins through joining Airdrops and until today they didn't bumped any Coin exchanges.
I don't participate airdrops, but instead, joining bounty campaigns is the best choice.

There are some airdrops where you get something initially and usually in the form of satoshi or something that is convertible to satoshi, and then once you want to withdraw it, you need to pay a certain fee either in cash or in satoshi (or etherium). Is this scam or just usual? I have the impression that once an airdrop asks for any amount for whatever purposes, it's a scam. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't usually do airdrops because of the fact that some airdrops requires postings in twitter which i do not have. But we can not also deny that some of us here were into airdrop participating due to the fact that it is the easiest means of having free tokens (if it is legit). That's why people shouldn't jump on every Airdrop. It's better to join bounties than Airdrops because you get a fair share for the work you do.

This is why most of the time I would like to join the bounty thread rather than take part in the airdrop.
Because most of the time you fill out this Google form, you don't get anything.

Some airdrops are legit, however, there are a lot of scam airdrop and shitcoin airdrops nowadays. However, legit airdrops are worth it because I was able to get $2,000 from an airdrop last year. People should be careful because there are airdrops that have a phishing site. Some would even ask for donations for more coins, which make it suspicious.

C'mon, man. Most of airdrops is a scam, at least half of the coins that been dropped are nothing more than a useless thrash. That's usual.

You must be lucky to get 2k dollars in just an airdrop. I remember last time i only get 300 to 400 dollars after i sell the token that i get from an airdrop but i regret after a few days because the price of it has still continue to rise up to 3k dollars. that was ny first mistake so far on an airdrop however im still thankful because i only get that token for free without doing an effort at all. Anyways airdrops does not have the ability to scam people because they only give away their coins without begging for a return.

Will have to correct you here. It is possible to get scammed by airdrops in several ways. For example, some airdrop campaigns will ask you to download their wallets in order to receive free coins which many users blindly download. The problem here is that these wallets are cleverly designed viruses meant to steal your credentials by hacking into your system which is one way of losing your hard earned money just like that. This is why I advise everyone not to get greedy and download wallets linked to popular coins only and never give away your private keys.

Thank you very much for your efforts, but I do not see any point in putting these lists on the table. Too many airdrops, it would be best to lay out lists of those airdrops that are honest and real. Although in any case I stopped participating in it as it is 99% meaningless.

Thanks for the information. There's actually a lot of airdrops that turns to scam after a certain period so its really hard to identify which one will give us some token and which one will not. As long as an airdrop doesn't require KYC then I am okay to join them as KYC will only make everything complicated.

They are collecting emails and telegram usernames. Beware!

1) They sell emails, telegram groups or use those lists for spam/bounties
2) There is possibility of using it for phishing/social hacking.

I have been into airdrops before and i used to participate as many as i can without thinking that it is a scam or not. But those airdrops that asks for donation as payment for gas are simply discarded right away. So i don't really care enough if i have participated in a scam bounty, besides, it's just a matter of seconds or minute to finish the registration form and all you have to do is sit back and wait for a couple of days before you receive your free tokens.

Airdrops are proliferating nowadays,there are numerous of airdrops popping out everyday but only few of them are legit but majority of them are scams so stay away that required KYC like requiring additional personal identity, passport for example. Some of them will gather info and sell them and some use it as identity theft so let's be vigilant of some suspicious ICOs.

The only airdrops that I join are the one without asking for donation because even if I don't receive any tokens it's okay because they are only free.

most airdrop today are scam and only selected are legit. just be careful if you want to join them because if they ask for donation or they ask you private key or any personal info then it is scam.

Airdrop at the moment is more like a lottery. Maybe you're lucky and you really get coins, maybe just scam. The most dangerous thing about a airdrop is that you give your data.

when someone advertise that they will give airdrop of 30-40 USD, it is suspicious, and in most cases, it is a scam...
regular airdrops usual deliver few bucks, not more, because the purpose is not to get rich, than to get reach.

Thank you for sharing these, I was about to join airdrops since I have pretty much time left for me to join some... but now I'm hesitant to do so. I think it would just waste my time more. Since there's nothing that we gain. Well that goes for most airdrops actually, they're just nothing. But there are some who actually gives as an unexpected profit. I trust the telegram group that I've joined for legitimate airdrops. It's quite obvious when an airdrop of a campaign/ICO is legitimate or has a potential for their coin's value and demand to increase. It's pitiable that people still fall for these criminals.

The details you submit could be used for another airdrop. Worse is if you submit kyc document. It's done for you as your documents would be used for other things.

Yes some airdrops are scammed because it is easy for sammers to change and dont know their name to people they just put donate in forms receive more eth and scammed it they just easily scammed you and make you fall for them just dont belive to others saying if you donate you can earn more money.

Lots of scam Airdrop this days, now better to follow airdrop with a viable project, never download a wallet on your laptop to earn airdrop,do detailed research before filling a form for airdrop, We need regulators in the crypto space to help reduce scammers and serious developers

That is why I do not join any airdrop now because it become trend and many are copying it and asking for donations for you to claim their airdrop which is the way for them to scam your account. Other, some airdrop has been given but worst it had no value in the market.

There are so many scam airdrops existing in this world in the cryptocurrency world.They are just waiting for you to drop your private key so that they can steal easily what's inside our wallet. Becareful and be more focused while joining airdrop forms

I also to make sure to separate my private key folder and public address.

Can you give an example of one or more wallets which has been a security risc? Hopefully not Speedcoin, Stratis, Deviant or Biblepay...
I have joined more than 100 airdrops now and so far i have got 11 transactions of different coins and tokens unto my erc-20 address already and more is coming. For sure not all airdrops are scams!

Yes we should aware of scam airdrop even it free the effort and time we invest is worthless we join in scam ICO. So its better if we give our attention to other way to earn in cryptocurrency. Also it better if we dont give your effort to it just your spare time not all your time.

Numbers of Project is now a scam, most prone is ICO. But it is our responsible to take time researching if those are Scam, making som research about the team and the flow of the project.

Actuallly this is a good information that you given to us, of being a part of this community so that we prevent and aware this list of airdrops as you said in your statement.definetly  mostly airdrops run now  in the market and they given are not be trusted,unlike happen before in previous year,there are so many bitcoiners  in this community will become benefited when they join an airdrop campaign,but now totally  the airdrops is scam or doing a phishing in your profile information or hacking some of your investment coin.

There are a lot of "airdrops" appearing recently. There are also people referring it as "airdrop" but you need to send 0.001 ETH or whatever amount of ETH to get some tokens, it's so ridiculous xD. Y'all should be careful especially to the newbies  ;D

Only today that so many airdrop you can see in the furom now but a few years ago it so hard to find airdrop in this furom you can see only bounty and announcement there some airdrop but not too many like today. Before airdrop is so good and realy you can earn free money in airdrop. Today there so many airdrop and almost all of them are scam you camt even see some of them list in exchanger and also some of them are asking donations.

That's why people shouldn't jump on every Airdrops. It's better to join bounties than Airdrops because you get a fair share for the work you do.

Airdrop does not supposed to be paid because a legit airdrop is free.You only need to do a specific task in order for you to be qualified to join an airdrop.

If Dev ask for money before they cast their airdrop well we should better think more about it since by asking money it can tell that the developer itself doesn't have any money to run his project smoothly and might he will scam the people who will give lend their trust.

Airdrop coins where not supposed to be trusted since this type of coin are can be considered as short term profit line.

No doubt there are series of Airdrop that are scam but this does not limit the fact that there are one that are good amidst them. I have participated in quite a number of Airdrops fifty percent pays and the other turns out to be a scam. One just need to be more careful in participating in those airdrops.

I stopped participating in airdrops at the end of last year because they do not have any sense and most of the coins do not come at all.

I found in your list a couple of airdrops in which I participated it is funny because I really waited when the tokens come..

Airdrops are free money, they drop the money on your head hence the AirDrop.
The only way it could be a scam is when they try to steal your sensitive data.

Yes, lately very much springs up airdrop, very difficult to choose. But, most airdrop is a scam, or just a worthless coin (junk coin). it must be more careful to join the airdrop. I myself tend to prefer not to join the airdrop.

Yes as crypto currency is on limelight many people are trying to use it to scammed other people, thats why we must be very cautious on joining.
A red flag if it is airdrop but asking for donation.
Also a red flag of a airdrop that is a KYC, because it is very dangerous on giving your data or ID to other people, which they can use as identity theft or hack your accounts because of private details you provide.

Always be cautious as scammers are always there.

There is many scam airdrops, some of them ask you private keys. others give you strange links, and mass of them not send yo any tokens but try collect your personal information

It is not a problem if the airdrop is scam because it's just an airdrop and we just sign up there for free so it's really okay if they not give us airdrop rewards. There are so many airdrop forms that requires donation, if you send donation then you have a shithead man. So be aware on not to give any donations because it's just only an airdrop not an investments.

Most of the airdrops are worthless. Some airdrops require more donations. Last year's most valuable airdrop was onion.

Many airdrop are so unprofitable. Just like when you are given about say 10$ of which mostly are just about 2 to 5 dollar in value, then there is just nowhere to exchange it except on their trading site which would require you about several thousands just to claim it. Its funny how they used their coins as a bait for their trading site. It is never good to make people do trading that way.

So many SCAM, I never try airdrop because of this and the payment aren't  too big. But also in Bounty, there is many SCAM and we must be careful to choose the best program.

Airdrops are good also but you need to be careful and vigilant!some airdrop forms are fake gathering more followers only specially in twitter.. A lot of airdrops come out but some of them you will not received tokens.. Some were forms that can lead to phishing site for them to hack your accounts specially your eth adress... But still they have airdrops that really paying... Best example now is the HYDRO1 AND ENU.. they are really pumping their price as of now.. Thats why a lot of token holders of this two gain a lot of profit for FREE...
When im started doing airdrops i almost finish 10-30 forms per day thats excited i am bfore... Funny thing is around 5-10% tokens only i received..  😂😂 that's why now im pushing myself to focus on bounty rather than airdrops...

yeah i agreed about that, not only that i have experience and always find many airdrops scammer, if you want to know, i feel at now so many airdrops scammer in everywhere. so i can just said becarefull about that and be patient

I make less and less airdrops but some are still really impressive like ENU and PPI where i get 0.6 ETH for an airdrop but ya good airdrops are really rare and its sometimes difficult to make difference between scam and legit

Even though the airdrop was bot driven, somehow the admin in charge of distribution (@garic_ling) managed to exclude thousands of members for "cheating". There are 2 questions I'd like to ask this garic character. 1) Are you seriously proposing that literally thousands of members are ALL committing fraud? 2) How can you not respond to reasonable requests for assistance and then when someone has exposed you for the fraud you are(he blatantly lied on public chat that the email he was giving out was current and active- this is not the case, try it for yourself: airdrop@thingschain.network.); remove them from telegram chat (what do you have to hide?) The upshot? This garic guy has either made a humongous mess up of distribution of tokens OR has committed fraud himself by knowingly withholding tokens for himself knowing that there would be a burn after the ICO…INVESTORS STAY AWAY!!

There are still AD who are not scam and who make a lot of money (although they are rare). I've been participating for some time in AD on discord (with 1 round every week for several months), the rewards are very interesting (a few weeks ago I did Privcy, I won $300 in a few weeks)
On the other hand, these AD require more time than the others (personally I prefer 2 or 3 AD in which I really get involved than dozens who may not earn anything)

There are a few airdrops where you get something at first and for the most part as satoshi or something that is convertible to satoshi, and after that once you need to pull back it, you have to pay a specific expense either in trade or out satoshi (or etherium). Is this trick or simply common? I have the feeling that once an airdrop requests any sum for whatever reasons for existing, it's a trick. Kindly right me on the off chance that I am off-base.

Thank you for the list. Good thing that I am very picky on airdrops. It actually free up some of time since I don't feel pressured on joining as many airdrops as I can. What I am doing before is that I join all of the airdrops on the marketplace just to make sure that I won't miss the legit ones.  I also stopped joining airdrops with KYC since its not worth the risk. I don't want them to have information about me only to be send with a coin with a less than a dollar value.
