Pretty neat use of BitCoin...however, he needed some cash quick for BitCoins, so that's where I snapped them up...
I am curious tho, at how many confirmations most people want to see on blockchain.info before they hand over cash - i was happy with 4, took about 10 to 15 minutes. Started buying $20-50 worth a month about mid 2014 for spending, bills/food. In 2014 I have bought gold and platinum with Bitcoin (providentmetals.com and amagimetals.com). * * * Nice thing about buying gold, silver or platinum (or BTC for that matter) is that I feel like I am buying and saving at the same time...
