I give you an update of the top 5 coins of today:

These are coins I have in my wallet. We will see what tomorrow brings

but I'm sure there will be NEO coin soon in the list, just waiting for the time for the NEO coin to enter the top 5

We have that info. In the morning the first thing I do is to look at the market. So this is not needed. Did you invest just in those coins.
They are safe investments, but you could invest in some of the riskier group. You could profit more while this upward trend is going.

among the five coins, which coins will you save it until the price soars to the moon? I currently save some ETH in my wallet because i am sure if the price ETH will increasse. BTC and ETH is best coin in cryptocurrency but I chose the second Ethereum and Bitcoin because both of these coins have a good future for trading. if you have 5 of these coins I think you should keep it.

The crypto in the top 5 on coinmarketcap is the crypto coin that receives great attention from the community so it has a huge trading volume during the day. These are also very potential altcoin for long term investment. This is a great choice.

These pennies in the top 5 are worth the investment. Because the number of transactions per day and the community is extremely large. I think BCH should be replaced by NEO. NEO deserves to be in the top 5

yes, I really agree with you that BTC and ETH will be the most promising coins, maybe forever because I really trust them.
btc and eth are fathers and mothers for other coins, this same coin is also nested behind blockchain.
This IMO will be a perpetual rival forever and will always give out a profit for its users or investors.

why is no one mentioning Monero? As I know it's most secure/anonymous coin? Yeah, I newer was top5, but I guess that will change in some near future.
And I see now there is coin which doesn't belong in top5..you all know which one.

i think never another coin can replace position bitcoin and ETH

Both 3 and 4 doesnt deserve their positions in the market,centralized coins should be supported by the community XRP being centralized and BCash being manipulated by its founder is very unhealthy investment if you ask me because you could lose a lot of money when you will invest to these two.NEO should replace those two because it has a good platform like ethereum which offers both smartcontracts and d-apps.

I agree with the subject regarding the top 5 ranking cryptocurrencies except for no.3 (XRP) because I find it not worth in the ranking which I believe there are other much better coin than XRP. I just observed some deserving coins
to be included on the top 5 slot such as Nano coin and IOTA which I bellieve it has better market performance than XRP and these 2 coins I suggested has a good price chart history data which is going to upward slope.

Hello everyone! This is a very good selection, and I am very glad that it is. Only, I think, still Neo, in my opinion also a very promising coin and deserves a place in this list.

what makes these coins "top"?
so far based on the picture and your comment you consider these "top" just because they are on top of some pointless list and also because you have an investment in them.

the fact is, apart from bitcoin none of these have been the "top" coin specially  today.
take a look at Nexus for example. it had a very high volume today and it rose >140%
there are a lot more of these actually. Tron, FunFair, Komodo,... even small/shit coins like Lepen Sacoin, Cashcoin,... had huge rises.

This ranking is because of the accumulated capital, I am not sure that ripple deserves 3rd position.

From the top 5, I think the future of BCash is bleak but some people are blinded by their inner motive to grab power from those people that have done more for the space and due to their move to overthrown they came up with BCash, and thanks to microsoft for coming up with their own findings that the solution to scaling the blockchain is onchain scaling

Why everybody feel himself a crypto expert while creating that hillarious Top-something lists? Who needs that? Nobody, except the thread starter.

If do you want to discuss what currency will gain the lead in the near time, why not to create a theme about it? All perfectly can call on coinmarketcup or чтoтo alike and to look what currency now in top.

Great investment ;D , i have also invested in btc , eth , ripple. But i do not know about ltc and bch. What you can say about this crypto? And what about other altcoins?

Other then bitcoincash, all other coins are good and have huge liquidity. Generally every long term investor have all these coins in their portfolio for long term as they have huge growth potential.

In general, I don't like fork coins. But BCH is a fight for Satoshi's original version of Bitcoin and against the "misled" Core team. I support it by holding a decent bag.

Without any doubt no.1 crypto is bitcoin then there it comes ethereum. So my top 5 cryptocurrencies are

2. Ethereum
3. Dash
4. Bitcoin cash
5.Litecoin
These are my choice but it may vary from person to person.

Wow, so you just looked at the top 5 coins by market cap on coinmarketcap.com, and then posted a completely useless thread about it? Possibly a disgracefully poor attempt at earning merit.

Why NEO?What are the main advantages, just copy  of Eth, or what`s teh difference in technical part,which helps NEO to win?
And what about ZCash, why certainly this coin, not for example, Dash or Monero?

I only own 6 coins for now,
BTC,ETH,Ripple,Stellar,CUBE,and Fintab

I hope those 6 will keep growing, i will invest them in a long time,

Your choice is good except BCH & XPR.My crypto portfolio contain the same coins except BCH,there is NEO,IOTA,WAVES.As usual BTC & ETH at the top level.Prices of BTC & ETH are stable to an extent and escalating gradually.Other Altcoin like LTC,NEO,IOTA,DASH these are also very good coin in market cap and with respect to technology.These coins are increasing in value on daily basis.Holding these coins for some time surely will lead toward good return.

Your selection is good but if you can replace BCH & XRP With XMR & Neo then your portfolio gives you more returns because XMR and NEO have more growth potential.

In your table there is not enough "capitalization" column, if you want to follow changes in the list of top coins, then you need to open a more detailed report. NEO is gaining capitalization at a huge pace, but this is still not enough to move to the 5th position.

I don't like the Ripple and Bitcoin Cashon in this list. I think these Altcoins have a bad future, it is better to replace them with more promising ones. For example Neo and Cardano.

In my portfolio i have BTC, ETH and XRP because these all coins has huge potential to grow in long term and also have huge liquidity.
And i think these all three coins are available in the maximum investors portfolio instead of LTC or BCH.
But everyone haves own choice of interest.

That's what im thinking too. Well anyone can make their own list of top 5 coins but is it really true or reliable? We should not rely in others suggestion instead think carefully and do an extensive background checking of every coins you want to invest in.

However I agree in btc and eth, I also have xrp in my crypto portfolio but I think neo deserves to be listed too.

Competition for the top 5 is also fierce, thanks to a volatile currency market.

They are safe investments, and you can make more money when this upward trend is going on.

Soon this list will be completely different, now 7 more coins are being pulled up that will blow up the market and change our opinion about them. This monero and dash and neo.

There are many traders who are waiting for the next rising of the bitcoin, because all other altcoins' future prices are changing with the price of bitcoin. I really hope to see that at least a few coins can reach bitcoin's price and can be real competitors of it.

There are over 100 coins in the list of the coins which are there in the world of crypto currency but the thing is there are only few coins which are this much worthy that investing in those coins can bring some good money for you. At this very present day, the top 5 coins in the ranking of all the coins are bitcoin, ETH, ripple etc. and most of the investors are investing in these coins because of higher revenue generation.

Ripple should grow in near future, because now is really down. And I think neo will get to the top 5 but i do not know  who will fall out of it

there are really popular coins in your wallet that are either solid or more risk-free to earn, but the amount is also important at this point I have invested in the future wepower.

Basically though it does look the most popular/supported, Of course not everyone is just focused on the top 5 cryptos, there are still many who are have a lots of plans on the other coins than the top 5 cryptos. Well and however the goals and opinions of each person are different to make a profits.

I think five coins always put their rankings in the order of 1-5, I myself save ETH, EXRP and BCH in my wallet, although the interest rate is still low but I am sure the interest rate will rise in the next year. A few months later I will hold the coin.

Your portfolio is very stable in term of long term investment. I would like to suggest retain your current portfolio dedicated for long term hold. While the 2nd suggestion is make another account of portfolio dedicated for trading. Having two accounts will make your success almost guaranteed.

Agreed with you. From my point of view, top 2 which are BTC and ETH would be ancestors in the crypto-currencies. the price is stable and sustainable enough. They have much volumes and many investors interested in them, no doubt that if you invest in them, they would make you good profits in turn.

Today's ranking is exact the same as yesterday.

in these coins i love to save ethereum and litecoin, i really love this coins because i has a good platform and wide range of uses as a cryptocurrency, if your planning for a long term these are the ones i rely on to have profit someday.

Great list but these are fav coins of most, is this thread confirming, debating or stating facts?!?

For those of you who write not everyone focuses on the top 5 coins, the facts explain the top 5 coins that have a good volume and also still able to maintain the stability of the value. Sometimes not all stable because that's the unbreakable crypto characteristic of their price value, indeed people will choose another coin that is more profitable than the top 5 but still and even not spared from the top 5 it to exchange if there is no fiat option at the market.
