Title: Which 256 coin more profitable than Bitcoin?
Post by: marketorder on September 29, 2013, 08:16:24 PM
I looked on Coinwarez and it appeared that Bitcoin is the most profitable to mine with a ASIC miner is that true? Is there a alt currency that's more profitable to mine other than Bitcoin? I'll be using a ASIC miner

It changes day to day based on current rate of trading and difficulty to mine.
Currently it's Bitcoin, yes.

Sometimes it's PPCoin, sometimes it's one of the newer altcoins with low difficulty/fast retarget. I personally use cgminer/bfgminer with --load-balance with a Bitcoin pool and a PPCoin pool, splits the hashrate between them.

Bytecoin. Its going to retarget in 103 blocks. If you want to mine then the official pool is bte.crypto-expert.com. Coretechs and cshelswell are rebuilding the main site and block explorer's too
