In a few days we will see the callisto airdrop happening. The callisto token will be rewarded to anyone holding ETC in a one to one ratio. I personally think it could hit 10usd, as it will be used as a store of value and for cold staking. What do you guys think about the price target?

Don't have too high hopes for it seeing that ETC didn't pump prior to the drop. Granted there are a couple of days before still, but I would think a $5 price tag would be good to begin for Callisto.

How can I get Callisto? I have a few ETC on Kraken, is there any exchange that supports the airdrop? If not where to store ETC to get the airdrop?

You should move your ETC to a wallet that you have the private keys (e.g. Myetherwallet). Not sure if there were any exchanges announcing support of the airdrop.

mew is not a wallet, it simple reads your private keys. you can use any other wallet that lets you export your private keys, then upload to mew.

There will be a huge dump when it already listed on the exchange site, Many people are realizing about the fact that the fork coin just becomes a short-term gain.

And then after they will be dumping it to the market and then they can put all of the amounts from their fork coin to the promising altcoin.

It will be starting at around $3 - $7 range.

I don't even know what Callisto is but just got to know that there will be a airdrop . What exactly does Callisto do ? Or is it just a fork of Ethereum classic ? Do I need to something to receive the airdrop?

I don't think that ETC is going to be dumped. Because there was no pump of the coin. People only bought it like they normally do trading. They will receive airdrop. But the airdrop price may be very low.
I think one Callisto may be worth less than $1 at start. Maybe between $0.5 and $0.01? It will be like the price of a new ICO coin which just has appeared on the market. But it is free coins. There is a risk it is worth less.

I have followed a number of threads on this site regarding the Callisto airdrop. The speculative price varies from $0.10 to $5. Hard for anyone to make a decision on such a range. I bought ETC both for the airdrop and to diversify my portfolio.

I think it will be in 3-5 USD range. I'm making a correlations of LCC fork and prices.
It's a hyped hardfork, but still it's just a fork.

If you think about it, the price of 3-5 dollars - not so bad, given that they are issued for free. Airdrops are always nice :) We do not take risks at all.

ETC is already dumping big ahead of the Callisto airdrop. That does not imply market confidence in
Callisto's value. Callisto probably will be low single digits at most.

I heard some rumors that calisto will be on the exchanges only in autumn. Who nows is that true or there are exchanges now that support airdrop?

One week before, the price of ETC was getting pumped and went up to 40$. The closer we are getting near this hardfork, the more the price is declining, which isn't, as you mention, a good sign for Callisto. Most probably it will be another useless coin, which use will only be as pump and dump coin  ;D.

Its not a fork. Its just airdrop to ETC holders.

You can send your ETC to the concerned classicetherwallet, there also we have to private where it can trace to get the Callisto airdrop. Only two days left for snapshot so this is the right time to send ETC tokens.

ETC is already going down fast before the airdrop. Maybe the big fall in ZCL after its airdrop
has the investors scared. Callisto is hardly worth the losses holding ETC last few days.

My etc is still on exchange (I'm using vip.bitcoin.co.id) but I don't know there's no information about this hardfork from that exchange, and the date of etc hardfork is 5th march, am I right?

It seems to me that we should not trust this coin. I think that this will not become a very successful project. The forks do not succeed, so they need to be sold.

I'm feeeling a pump/dump coming with Callisto. Or maybe just a dump. My price prediction is $3-$5. Maybe there's more to it than I think.

So,  I am in this game,  probably someone will pump this airdrop coin and we can increase our investment immediately.  ETC will be back to the previous level anyway,  such a perspective coin.

I do not want to see Callisto and etc coins. They left me in the wrong corner. I had to sell the fiashed I got. Whereas I had a high expectation from Etc. When the deal with the big stock exchanges, the price fell without seeing a proper rise. I do not know what the Callisto price is. But I do not think it will be very good.

I don't believe in this coin. This is a speculative project that doesn't have a good future. All my friends intend to sell this coin immediately. I won't keep this coin if I get it. The price of CLO will be maximum in the first minutes of release.

I dont think it will be that low price. $ 3- 5 is not worth for etherium classic which has higher value.
Looking at ignis, it has similar value with nxt so i think the price of callisto is similar with Etc.

I think the biggest fomo is already over and I think it will dip after the airdrop. I expected some more price action before the airdrop, but well thats okey. I will just hold my Ethereum Classic for a longer time!

the classic was very dumped since 24 february,  before the fork, because this is speculation and no more. Now I heard the price of CLO is 2.2 dollars per token.I do not think that this token can enter to the top 20 of cryptocurrencies.

Is myetherwallet support etherium clasic? I dont know about that.
Well, as i know yes we need to move etc to the wallet which we control the private key. I dont get any news about the exchange that support this airdrop.

If you don't believe in ETC you shouldn't believe in Callisto.

Well, it's more like a fork than an airdrop, but the main thing is its result in the future. And the result is likely to be like all the forks, at least get it easily, but is supported by only one exchange and 2 wallets. In general, only to observe.

Callisto (CLO) (https://coincodex.com/crypto/callisto/) currently trading for around $1.50 on Yobit. Bought a few just in case it gets listed on a bigger exchange such as Binance or Bittrex, price would skyrocket :)

Seeing the coin distribution I don't think this garbage is going to be worth anything sorry.

Callisto will be a separate blockchain in ETC mainchain, a sidechain with its own native CLO token

It's not native Callisto CLO. It's yobit token. Callisto mainnet is not running. It's mean that no coins exist. And team promise start until March end. That's why price on Yobit is games only

ETC price has been dropping steadily for last two weeks and is now half of its
pre-fork highs. Holding it through such a big loss for Callisto airdrop was not worth it.
Doubt that Callisto will trade at $20 to make up for ETC losses.

It seemed to me that this is a strong project, but I was wrong I guess. I don't believe that the price will go up. Most likely all holders will sell this coin and the project will die. I see that the coin's price falls day by day.

Team says that on end of March they will start mainnet.
Callisto mainnet will NOT be launched immediately at the moment of balances snapshot. It is not the main goal for us to get CLO listed at most exchanges before the snapshot block.

The final launch is scheduled to the end of March or later, depending on Testnet 2.0 launch results.

CLO devs said that they wanna test new features and moonlight protocol , so I agree with u about CLO price. But ETC can go higher from current price, as everyone sold it 2 days ago.
