What’s the Best  laptop/computer for day trading? (Security, hack etc)

for trading in my opinion can use any computer, For security in my opinion depends on the wearer, create strong security and layered, eg using google authenticator, email or mobile confirmation, and that is important to be careful in using internet access..

Make sure it's a decent computer or laptop. You don't want to get caught with a laggy computer or one that crashes when you're about to put in a trade. Save the headaches and buy a decent machine.

Just get one that has a fast enough network card.
Usually if you wifi/network card is slow it will make you lose your trade with the lag contributing to this component.

You can get a chromebook to do trading on. ;D

1. If you do not want to give yourself much headaches on viruses or trojans that can steal your wallet info, go for a laptop/computer with a Mac or Linux OS.

2. RAMs and CPUs are very important factors to consider since you will be running a lot of processes and will not like your computer to be freezing or being slowed down.

Theres no significant or prescribe pc or laptop to be used for you to engage with day trading.Just only be sure that you are using a clean and not infected pc or laptop because this is one of the way that you can be hacked when theres a virus or malware inside to your machine which can potential get important informations,log-in details,keys and etc. and also be mindful on not clicking any suspicious links on the net because if you do have a clean pc but you got still victimized by phishing links then its still a possible way on losing up money.

What I can suggest you is use a macbook or any mac series computer. I suggested it because the performance was so amazing and most of all in terms their security they are secured and safe.

My laptop that I used to trade is LENOVO this laptop never experienced error.  I like the features of lenovo it is easy to use and very friendly so that's why it us good to use in trading.  I used laptop of asus before but last few months ago my asus laptop was gone or bye to me because my laptop is already use for few years.  You can try to buy lenovo or asus laptop for trading.

Both are independent because computer is easily handling and laptop is user friendly. But computer is the best for day trading. It is always connected in internet we can easily monitor the current status it should be comfortable. Laptop also connecting the internet but many peoples are not suggest that because it is security compared to PC. But Google pixelbook and Mac book  laptops are more safer than the computer.

trading is not like mining , i meant it doesn't have to be very powerful if you don't want to mine with that , best ones for securities are macbooks , even if you got it stolen , you can luck it and erase it , but a bit more expensive coz it is a fancy brand!

You can trade on any computer but everything depends on what you going to do. For example if you just going to trade then everything is fine but if you are going to make robots then testing those robots on past charts sometimes can take days to compile the result so you will probably need more RAM.
Security is more about the software you use and the platforms where you trade. If you want to make your crypto activities safer then first of all you should use Linux instead of the other OS. Also you should always check the platform where you trade because the big part of risks is on their side.

U are thé few of people whom recommend Linux for security software.

You will probably need some time to get used to the new interface. Everything else depends on your needs. Most software either have  official versions for Linux or have quality analogues while Linux is way more resilient to viruses than Windows. The only problem is that if you are going to have problems if you need to run dufferent games (mostly unpopular ones) but If you need this OS just wor work then you are definetely gona be fine.

Any laptop will do.

Hacks arn't caused by hardware (your PC, phone or laptop). They are caused by users downloading stuff tehy shouldn't, clicking on phishing links, making passwords that arn't strong, using the same password everywhere.

In other words, hacks happen because people are stupid.

Agreed, depends on what you want to use laptop for. Something like mining needs alot of power, but you could use a pretty ordinary laptop for trading.

I don't even use a desktop or a laptop anymore since most of the time i just do it on my smart phone. There are even apps like binance to make trading easier and more mobile so you can access it on the go.

There's no best computer/laptop for trading cryptocurrency, any will work as long as you always update your OS and have a good security/antivirus because even you have the best pc/laptop available in the market but if you are careless user then it is not safe and possibly that you will get hack. It is also depends on your needs, if you are a type of person that always travel but wants to actively trade cryptocurrency then it is best to have a laptop or a tablet because of its portability. If you are a type of person that always stays at home and want to do multi tasking then build a pc that have a two or more monitors to track all your trades.

For day trading you can use any computer or laptop which is having a good configuration with some latest processor or dual-core processor so that your trade orders do not get crashes or misses from the system. If you can afford the Apple MacBook laptop then you can go for it because the speed of the Apple processor is really faster than the windows one. It is not necessary that you should be buying a newer one any computer which doesn't get crashed is also good for day trading.

Best laptop/pc for day trading is your own laptop/pc that you're the only person uses. Don't think that expensive laptop/pc will make you become a professional trader. LOL. Use your own laptop/pc will keep all your money and account infor safe. Don't access to your trade account or crypto wallet with a public computer if you don't wanna lose it all :)

I agree with you mate, any laptop/computer will do as long as it can open the site and you have a good internet connections, those securities which is needed to prevent such things are outside your physical device, its should be well taking care of your system, having good av and knowledge on how
to fully secure your password are very important, but in terms of physical devices, you can use even a simple specs computer/laptop as log as it can
connect to the internet and open the exchange website.

Its not the laptop or the computer that matters but the OS. I will recommend Linux for security and preventing yourself from getting hacked. As Linux is less likely to get hacked and has a more secure environment. Also most of the malwares are made for Windows. You are less likely to get hacked if you don't download softwares or torrents from shady websites.

I used Windows 7 laptop. But i had to change it to macbook. And now I really satisfied with it. I don't have any problems with wallets and security on my activity on the cryptomarket.

I will say that the only best computer which you would always like to use is your “OWN” computer. And I will also second if you have your own Apple’s Mac book, then it is blessing in disguise. The reason I am recommending this is because now a day there are too many bugs which can be left in the computer to track the activities and passwords, so why would you take risks for exchange of speed? In this field, always trust your own computer because that’s the best one you have got.

Not only trust but you should always mind on the safety and cleanliness of your own pc which are prone to malwares and viruses and thats the best computer. Even no matter how low spec it is as long it is capable on running web application that you do need then there no need to worry.Having a good specification of computer isnt really needed if you are careless on protecting it.

A standard computer which uses antivirus and and firewall is fine . Just check all antivirus and firewall softwares are up to date and use vpn if it is OK for you and keep yourself away from public wifi and internet usage.
Also don't use your machine in public areas so much

For me in my home, I used PC because it is the best way to process trades and it makes us monitored our coins. But in a simplest form of forum it binds me in making new accounts easy.  The PC might have a good advantage especially if you used the 8 RAM processor and enough memory to store datas and accounts.

Any computer/laptop that you have as long as it's good enough and make sure that it's clean. A cheap or an expensive laptop or computer don't affect to your trading skills so I think it's not important to choose an expensive laptop/computer to trade. :). As long as you can keep your laptop/computer clean, it'll be the best laptop for trading and of course it'll be the most secure laptop as well :)
