Title: CoreClock Fluctuating RX580 (MH/S changing...)
Post by: RapBTC1 on March 03, 2018, 05:22:30 PM
hello everyone..

I have a problem (It's a strange problem wtf...) my rig working since 1 month and now i see,
2 of my GPU (I have 8 GPU) the hashrate has loss 5 mh/s (30mh/s to 25mh/s)
i check why. And i see its the coreclock fluctuating everytime. (Coreclock : 1150)
Fluctuating exemple ( 800-850-790-1100-1000-900-1060 etc..)
6 GPU working perfect, without fluctuating and "THIS" GPU change everytime... and the mh/s follow him..

Do you have an idea please ?

Thanks

Undervolt your card to 900mV or lower and it will stop throttling. Your GPUs are waaaaaaay too hot.

Your undervolt doesn't stick then. It can't realistically reach 74C and 70% fan if you are solo mining.
Use OverdriveNTool, set core voltage = memory voltage and disable all but the last P-states.

Your cards are throttling, try to cool them more and confirm it, at least set fans to 100%.

Check if your GPU voltage decreases to 840mv , because some GPU have one voltage regulator so mem/gpu voltage need stay in same range or higher value will be applied to both mem and core

Disable all except P7 on core and P3 on memory. Set both core and memory voltage to 840. Save it as a profile, reset the settings, load it back and reapply it.
Your cards are VERY hot, you shouldn't treat them that way if you want them to last more than few months.

Not sure on you GPUs but if its AMD, get the Blockchain Beta driver and undervolt in Claymore Scrypt and use MSI Afterburner.

That should give you consistency.
