Title: P2Pool local DOA shares - too high?
Post by: donut on October 01, 2013, 07:00:47 PM
2013-10-01 14:59:24.812000  Local: 110GH/s in last 10.0 minutes Local dead on arrival: ~4.4% (2-7%) Expected time to share: 55.6 minutes

Is this normal? Would it, perhaps, be more rational to use a regular pool such as Eligius?

Local rate  29.1GH/s (14% DOA) here.  All hail the ASICMiner Blades.  ::)

I'm not concerned, DOA shares are still paid out as far as I can tell - my payouts on P2Pool are very similar to Eligius and EMC.

Totally normal with P2Pool.  It's because of the block rounds changing every 10 seconds.
