So what you are basically saying is that you are selling your Identity/ passport for 100 bucks? Cause you sure as hell don't know what your customers are going to do with the account, they could operate a ponzi scheme, or a money laundering company, and basically commit all these crimes  with all your information attached to your account?

Is this even allowed by the bank themselves? How legit is this?

And the news now that the Binance Exchange seeks to move office to Malta may quicken the rush for this seemingly clandestine deal.

I do not think this is legit. No EU bank will allow remote opening of accounts without satisfactory sighting positive ID and complying with KYC procedures. EU banks are super strict with these procedures and they all enforce a common and uniform KYC system EU-wide.

In the above case, I'm sure this is not legit. If it is, it will be an account opened illegally. Perhaps by replicating the passport and superimposing someone else's photo on it, then that person presents it to the bank during the account opening process. If you think about this scenario carefully, this means the same person who used those credentials to open the account will also have direct access to the account. This is just one angle of the story. There are other scenarios you might want to consider such as criminals using an accomplice working for the bank. Same thing.. that accomplice will have access to your account.

Think and be careful.

Even if you're doing something legal, You're helping criminals doing money laundering and helping them hiding their black money.

I would advise don't do such thing for like $100. You can be in trouble as well.

No bank ask fees to open any account. You just deposit some amount.

They don't ask fees to open a bank account but certainly they ask processing fees or a minimum balance to maintain if you're planning to open a savings account.

HSBC bank is international and they create such accounts on request however,they do enough background survey of the person applying for a bank account.The guess it's legal but not easy unless one has an explicit reason to open an account there.
