So 1070's mine eth at about 30 mh/s and change which is decent.  The 1080's suck at eth.  I had one going for a bit and it was just horrible.  I do not remember exactly what I was getting but it was not good.  Probably cost more in electricity to run than what you get.  Eth is memory intensive and the 1080's are much more core intensive gpu's.

I have GTX 1070 in my computer, and I do some mining from time to time. Also I made post about mining altcoins and place where you can find which coin is most profitable to mine in this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3053621.msg31493289#msg31493289) topic, so go and check it out.
Also you can go and check out this site Whattomine (https://whattomine.com/), there you can also find profitability of coins.
And as far as mining ETH is concerned, I think you can find some other coins which you could mine, that are more profitable than ETH.

Yeah it would be better to mine a more profitable coin and sell it and buy eth with a 1070 and a 1080.

Or 1080 gtx  is  better, after all, the power is more efficient. What do you think?

"Or 1080 gtx  is  better" , better than what? What are you talking about, your post has nothing to do with OP's question. Read posts before you try to answer some, and stop shitposting please. Also start reading your posts before you post them.

ETH is garbage to mine on nvidia hardware. You make double the profit versus eth when mining equihash

Garbage you say?

Did a quick check between ETH and ZEC with my average settings for my farm and ETH won on both 1060, and 1070 at whattommine.

1070
ETH:
31mh/s
Power 120

Equihash
450h/s
Power 120

ETH Daily rev 1.71
Nicehash-ethas 1.67
Nichhas equihash 1.67
Hush 1.53
zec 1.50
