Title: Recommend a VPN?
Post by: fwho on October 02, 2013, 08:34:17 PM
Can anyone recommend a good VPN? Especially if it has the ability to choose your exit.

Thank you. Paying in BTC is not a requirement for me, but def. a plus, so I hope that forum doesnt discount good VPNs because of that.

Try ZorroVPN.

Or try chaining socks, vpns, and TOR if you're uber-paranoid.

Nobody likes private internet access? Yearly is cheap and lots of servers. I know you didn't say bitcoin payment was required, but they do offer it.

http://privateinternetaccess.com

They support OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP, and SOCKS (not VPN, but whatever)

My Internet at home is around 15Mbps, and I don't notice any loss of speed using PIA. They charge $40/year or something like $8/month (you should really pay by the year).

They have a zero-logging policy, and claim to never had even communicated with authorities. My only concern is that they're so popular I'm not sure I'll always be able to trust them in the future.

That wasn't one of his requirements either. They do have servers across the globe. And you can look at the policies that the others have mentioned.

Cognitive Cryptography is a very cheap VPN located in France, sold on this forums. Not sure about security/privacy, but if you just need to unblock sites, I think it would work. It only costs a few dollars a month.
