If BTC's LN is fully operational and introduced to early adopters I wonder if there will be a market for another currency, excluding privacy coins. Even NANO (former Raiblocks) can scale up to 7000 tps, but... the stress test didn't reach such numbers. These tests are costly and time consuming, it's difficult to achieve a large number of transaction simultaneously under a controlled environment. Hope my answer will be useful for the following discussion. Now this is why -also- bitcoin is hard to hack. It will take time and cost so much money. Isnt lightning like creating a warp hole. Gathering user there and creating the transaction before writing in the block chain? So that warp whole can accomodate thousands of transaction, right?
