-Silkroad closed, bitcointalk down.

Now Bitcointalk up, and BTC value back were we left 5 days back, but BTC will be stronger now and its gonna hit 150USD soon my friends.

yep, legit investors can no longer use the 'bitcoin is a dirty currency because of silk road' as a objection.

bitcoin is now a little bit more cleaner then last week and so investors will see it as more of a potential for investment. especially how bitcoins resilience to stay above $130 (after an initial 12 hour panic). this proves that bitcoin does not need silk road to survive, it is its own currency, reliant on no particular entity at all to keep its value.

+1 totally agree with that, I have a strong feeling Bitcoin will be stronger after what happened, exactly for the reason you mentioned. I myself expected a much lower fall after the seizure of SR but everything came back to normality in a matter of hours.

Anyone buy up lots of BTC when it dipped?

Personally, I would have liked it to dip alot more so I could buy in at a lower price.

i treat the high prices as speculative profits and the lows as true value. after all if there is no value to sell at say $70, people wont sell....
i never base my 'value' of bitcoin on the high of $140 for the month. i base my values on the insane lows (when people panic) as my indicator of true value. and since june and the inception of ASICS (stable price of $120+) i have had a chart showing the lows for the last few months. it seems that somewhere around the mid $80's mark is the point where people that sell BTC no longer find it worth selling any cheaper unless insane, and make the decision to hold out and hope for a rise, which so far has always happened. its held its its head above the $80 level very well, so i class this as the true value or the insane minimum value price point.

in a few weeks/months time. if/when bitcoin 'speculative' value rises higher, the insane absolute minimum price will also rise.

I bought 50 coins at $100, then sold them at $120 and made $1000 in a couple days.

true, I understand what you mean.. I've had the impression during the last few weeks that what you point out as a 80's mark, now is a 100/110's.. I also rekon there is a huge core of bitcoin's owners (like me) who would never sell their bitcoins, no matter the price and this helps stopping the price from sinking during a panic sell like the one we had a few days ago.

I had buys set up going down to $91 on campbx.

I took to heart what someone once said.

If you don't like the price of Bitcoin now...just wait.
