Hi! How do you think, which places are the best to advertise your cryptocurrency at?

Youtube, Twitter and Facebook seems not to be doing any big changes. We have ordered Youtube Adwords for our video which got us around 40K views; Twitter has Over 5K followers, Facebook has almost 1K followers, but nothing of these types of advertising seem to be doing any good. How do you guys think, what is the best place to advertise cryptocurrency?

If that is not an ICO, you are in the right forum to advertise that coin. But if that is an ICO, theymos will not allow you to get a slot and advertise through ad slot. You can have your bounties or signature campaigns that is very popular here in forum or you can hire an SMM that will do all the advertising for you.

No, we did not do an ICO and the whole project is like 99% funded from my own funds, which is sometimes a bit stressing, since advertising in cryptocurrency space seem to be very costly. Let's say I think CoinMarketCap could be a good place to advertise the project at, but they require 10K USD minimum. It's a bit of expensive. Maybe you guys know some alternatives to that? Maybe anyone tried getting articles to coin news sites and saw if it was good for volumes?

Youtube is used mostly for entertaining people. Crypto is too serious for it.
Try to create forum threads for your crypto. Referral program (bounty) can also give you clients if you set right conditions for webmasters/referees.

Yes, but strange thing - I sometimes still see ads of an ICO's on my personal Facebook account. I don't get their policy... When I tried to advertise mine - it didn't allow, yet some ICO's are allowed for some unknown reason.

I think that you need to contact SEO Specialist. They promote websites and stores, of course they have a lot of ideas and solutions for cryptocurrency. Maybe you need to arrange a competition. Now many people do that. Announce the condition - who will make the most creative advertising of my project, will get X dollars. You can even hang out these ideas and give them to the public vote. So you get a lot of very different ads and maybe be inspired by some kind of idea.

For people looking to promote Bitcoin, there is a company out there called Honeybadgerofmoney.com currently selling Bitcoin stickers. Ironically, they seem only to be accepting fiat money payments! Maybe I’m wrong, I’ve been wrong before, if I’m wrong again, please correct me. So, why do we not promote cryptocurrencies outside of our own community? Why did not you have a company bounty and which audience are you targeting? With a company bounty, you can do all kinds of advertising, and twitter and facebook and advertising on BTT, content creation, in general, all you need.

Building communities, you'll use Reddit, Bitcointalk, Telegram, etc. Need some investors, probably media, YouTube, etc. Obviously, this is a general thing to say, then it depends which influences or people will deliver it on these platforms  ;)

Telegram in my opinion. All the crypto community is there. At least all the serious players who actually invest money.
And very few projects are advertising there right now, but they will switch I guess.

I do not really know the method of advertising. but the only fastest way is as you say. the internet is the fastest way the most powerful to read by all internet users. google, youtube, and other social media. although now some have forbidden it for advertising ico.
and lastly, bitcointalk is the center of knowledge, discussion and advertising of all crypto.

I think youtube video is quite important, because people can be from a brief video to get information about the ICO project, so I think youtube is the best publicity channels, I suggest you use youtube to promote as much as possible.

I think instagram now is the best way to advertise cryptocurrency. I saw many ICO started to put their advertising in instagram. I don't know they are directly put in instagram or using third party affiliate and the third party will be put in instagram.

But the social media sites are helpful way to promote an ICO. Maybe, you just not see the importance of the social media sites. But the truth is that the investors always look an ICO based on the media sites loke facebook and twitter.

Advertisements of cryptocurrency would be better for all the existing social media outlets such as facebook, twitter, Instagram, YouTube, google, bitcoin forum, Yahoo and other existing social media outlets to give awareness to the people who might get interested in investing the cryptocurrencies. I may have not known other crypto except for bitcoin and eth without bitcointalk forum. here, i have explored ICOs and altcoins. Exchangers like kucoin also helped me to knew other coins by seeing prices of each and buy/sell those coins. I agree social media is just the way or a stepping stone for me to enter altcoins by trading coins from bounty until investing in btc and eth.

Why not build a community on telegram, discord, or slack? Word of mouth is still the best form of advertisement for me and that can only be done effectively if you have a strong community.

The best advestisement agency that mostly people watching, are televisions network, and I'm pretty much sure, that if cryptocurrency made an advertisements into televisions networks it will surely increase the percentage of people who wants to access cryptocurrency business, because not all people have a knowledge about cryptocurrency business. The best way to advertise cryptocurrencies is through the word of mouth. Our first prospect should be our friends and relatives. Those people who trust us. And then we can put our advertisement through Facebook. We need to show them proof that we are earning because this will their basis to join.

You can also try to promote your coin into coinmarketcap so your coin will be seen by many crypto investor.

How about telegram since most of the coin holders are there. ICOs are also using telegram as their means to communicate with their customers. But the most effective would be to use google and other relevant sites. Facebook might be a better place but it is crowded to much by other informations that may also affect the focus of your would be customers. A funny video or a beautiful pictures is all that is needed to distract attention. So maybe, how about creating a website and putting your cryptocurrencies there.

First bitcointalk ofcourse, then reddit's cryptocurrency and income based subreddits, blog, also try on cryptocurrency group on facebook for sure their group members are interested in cryptocurrency.

Bitcointalk is a best social site to promote crypto, so far. Other than this Facebook is good option too, i don't think YouTube and Twitter has that much effect. You can also look up at reddit.

I think, although some social media have banned crypto advertising on ico sales. It does not matter. because after all, now crypto has become very famous all over the world. only, there is a lot of sloping news that is growing in the community.

TV ADS is the best way to sell products or service but social media nowadays is the place to advertise any product under the sun you do not have to pay anything as long as you have an account in it. and social media (e.g. facebook, twitter, youtube etc.) is the great way to let people know and encourage them to join crypto.

You could post your cryptocurrency here on bitcointalk and other forums like altcointalks. You could also publish blogs about your crypto and post video on youtube. You could also hire social media influencers who have great influence on social media about cryptocurrency, they could hype your crypto and start a word of mouth like what happens on ETN. You can also do contests or giveaways. Try also to get listed on ICO websites and get a high rating it will help a lot.
