Title: Thin the herd, which alts should I keep?
Post by: Savik on March 05, 2018, 05:44:05 PM
I bought tiny bags of too many shitcoins. Which are worth keeping?

This was my etherdelta starter pack from last Nov. Finally figured out how to use the exchange and bought a bunch of crap. These ones have been the worst performers

Why do you think you have loaded shitcoins, never invest in useless stuff, only invest in projects you are confident about and then also be patient and give them time, your list is not crap, most of them are good, just hodl and you will be fine.

I would get rid of it all. If still below buying price, then wait until they reach your investment price and get out. So many useful projects at the moment, no need for shitcoins, unless it's for a quick buck. There are also quite a few good ICO's on their way (I personally am staying away atm), often you can buy for almost ICO prices once at the exchanges.

I don't like your portfolio, you need to keep PRL, DOVU and Lend, all other s I will sell them quickly because they are likely start dumping seriously in coming days  because BTC is likely to start rallyign and we all know what will happen to most altcoins they willstart dumping

Lol don't know for most of them. Just look at their whitepaper and see if anything makes sense. If idea has not good potential then sell. If there is any potential there then hodl.

I chose storm and lend as I clearly know these are great projects out there better than many so-called professional projects. By the way publica is okayish project and might be very popular over time, in 2020.

DIVI is a good coin, now its cost ~ 3.20, but in January its cost was 13+ (I do own and plan to continue owning DIVI)

You should keep hold all the coins in one or two months then only we have changes is reflected but I feel PFR is good growing cryptocurrency it will raise slowly and ADX also good potential platform but currently little drop in the market so definitely this coin also pump in the future. I suggest PFR and ADX is the worthy investment and other coins are holding check later you are getting some idea about your portfolio.

Get rid of them all, if above buy price and take a look at SAFEX, which is currently selling for 2-3cents.

  • It is a privacy coin and in the next couple of months it will transition to its own blockchain.
  • There will be marketplace built directly into the blockchain.  (Pause and think about that for a second)
  • The currency of the marketplace, Safex Cash, will be mineable via Cryptonight algo and SAFEX token holders will get a 0.5% airdrop of the Safex Cash to seed the marketplace.
  • The marketplace will have a 5% commission fee, which will be returned as dividends to token holders who stake their SAFEX tokens on the marketplace.

Check out CIVIC.

It's a protocol that ensures data safety. The price is still good.

I trust this because it solves a real problem (personal data safety) and because it's CEO Vinny Lingham has already developed few other ideas in the past that had success.

Seems very promising to me

A lot of you on the list of coins have no value at all and need more than a year to keep them to see the minimum profit. For me, STORM and ADX are more attractive.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on Pre-ICO stage right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

I don't know how you managed to acquire so many shitcoins, I can only assume you were digging in hope of finding something that would go 1000x or something. If they were good picks I would have said to keep them as now is not a good time to do it, but in this case it's an exception.

Ouch... Have you thought about selling all of them?

I really think you should get rid of Adex. They really lost the trust of their community when they mislead them into thinking that a development would occur before the expected date. You can probably find old reddit threads about it, and how pissed people were. Definitely lost my respect them for them after that.

Thats exactly what it was. I bought small positions (0.5%-1%) of my portfolio for a handful of these coins in hopes that one would moon. I did get lucky and bought a few others that have done very well, but these ones seem to be duds so far. I might sell all of them or none of them, I am still trying to decide the right step to take.
