Wanted to ask you all:
    Is Telegram ICO even real? Only have seen lots of scams pop up...

As far as I know ICO should be in March and  I guess they will finish it really quick, so far more than 800m$ been collected according to the press.

Honestly, looks like fake news, nothing more...
Although, its a good way to gain momentum and attract more eyes at your project
Hype is definitely real

Yes its real but its already at a valuation of 1.6 billion.

The initial price was 0.33 cents per gram (Thats what they call it) and middlemen have made a premium of up to 300% reselling it. Its a huge valuation already so no point buying.

How much do you think they will try to raise more? 1bln? 2blns? How high the price can go with market cap this big?

I don't see any sense to get in this ICO because it's kinda shady and there are a lot of whales will be there. Moreother I don't think there would be an opportunity to multiply its capitalization pretty fast.

I dont think that investing in TG ICO is any good idea. They are raising one billion.

I think there won't be an ICO, just some private sale for big investors(wales).

What are you talking about private sale? How are big whales going to earn then if Telegram coin wont be available to the public?

Telegram ICO? I bet its gonna burn up market. Waiting for announcements and bounty. Actually messengers and social networks are the most profitable one, unpredictable and exciting ICOs. 

Im new here, can you tell me a bit more about Telegram ICO, Im using the app, thinking about investing. Do you have any suggestions?

The ICO is most definitely real but when the accredited investors get the rate one third of what you will pay, how can you ever stand to gain and not fear they will dump on you? I understand that whales are strong hands and in general can move the market but that much of a discrepancy? Not surprised a centralized coin has gone and done that, now I pray for their early grave in this space.

Yes, telegram has a very real and worth investing ICO of the future to create a decentralized social platform like telegram and this project is also in great interests of some big investors. They have released their token at TON coin name and they will surely  become more popular in coming days.

Telegrams do carry out a closed ico now. Whether the will public ico is still unknown.

I agree with you. They will receive billion dollars for what? What can they make for billion dollars? Coin which can be integrated in messenger and thats all? They need to make really great ecosystem, real utility token.
And press said(so this is not fact) that they can make it only on march 2019. So long for such a big amount of money. I really dont know if it is good idea to participate in GRAM

Although telegram is the place that have all chat group of ICO project but I don't think invest in Telegram ICO project is a good idea. I don't see anyway that they can earn money from Telegram only cause everyone can use it for free so how they will work to get more money from telegram to make their project succeed ??? IMO you'd better stay away from telegram ICO project :)

Most of them are not real. They only lie to people about dream things so don't believe people that saying something about Telegram ICO.

Telegram's ICO is real.  That said I have a two issues with their ICO, the obscene amount of money they raised and whales were able to get in early leaving the little person to pick up the elephant dung when their ICO opens to the public.

That said, they could have done what we're doing with RadioYo's ICO.  And our ICO is way smaller compared to them. You can find our ICO at https://rao.radioyo.fm

We've worked really hard and taken concrete steps to make our ICO all inclusive and accessible to everyone.  For example, we’ve created 34 different tiers from 500 tokens up to 250,000 tokens, made sure no one person can hold more than one percent of tokens, rejected big investors, haven't engaged any bounty hunters and decided against a pre-sale.

We feel in the long run this approach emphasizes the importance of organic growth and building and nurturing a strong community of RAO contributors.  

Don't think Telegram can say that.  BTW, love their product.
 

There are no official site for it and no official statement or what so ever that Telegram ICO or TON will be an official ICO either, Launching in 2018, This cryptocurrency will be based on multi-blockchain Proof-of-Stake system, And the team will build a user friendly interfaces for million of light wallets, exchanges, and identification services, But there are no official statement about it so who knows I only read some articles and reports about it but don't believe it if there are not a 100% percent source of liability towards it.

This is a really news, although the telegram is a very successful product, but I think they're trying to raise the amount of capital is too big, so I do not recommend investment telegram ICO, may not have very good profit opportunities.

Some people say the telegram will have only private ico because there are a lot of big investors. So public ico will not make sense

So if Telegram is trying to earn some more money that makes it a bad ICO for investing? You think other ICOs are made for something except earning money?

I think it is real according to news I have read about it, they had their first round of ICO and raised over $800 million. But I am still waiting for telegram make an official announcement on their channel.

Yeah its something speculative about Telegram ICO..
But nobody really expected Venezuela to drop Petro ICO into the daylight either. People thought it was a joke, a marketing campaign for Venezuelan government, President Maduro even rejected all the rumours and leaks about the token himself at first. Look at it now..

I dont know, think lets not put our time and money into this, better to wait and see

Telegram ICO is ready to limit itself to two closed investment rounds among qualified investors. Individuals must apply for a minimum of $1 million, legal - $10 million! There is logic in this. Even with a closed placement, they can collect all the necessary amount - a lot of offers.

As far as I know, this is real, but they have a private pre-sale and an entry of 100,000 dollars
