Title: Another newbie Post by: chive on October 07, 2013, 05:54:18 PM Hi all,
I decided to get into BitCoins. Being 4 years late to the party is bit disappointing, and the amount of information is overwhelming to grasp in one sitting. I've managed to mine a whole $1 in 8 days lol :) I hope to learn more, and hopefully mine a bit faster. Regards, chive Title: Re: Another newbie Post by: zengryT on October 07, 2013, 06:01:12 PM Welcome,

Title: Re: Another newbie Post by: bitcoindigi on October 07, 2013, 06:09:05 PM I know that feel, OP.
however, mining is not worth it, you're better off just buying some coins and sit on them. Title: Re: Another newbie Post by: chive on October 07, 2013, 06:16:58 PM I took advantage of my access to about 40 PCs at work. Most of them are running bfgminer. As far as the users are concerned, it's just automatic updates ;) Each one generates about 10-20Mh/s.
I bought 18 USB eruptors, 2x rosewill 10 port hubs, 2x usb fans. I've run into some problems, but I will create a separate thread for it in the proper section of the forum. Title: Re: Another newbie Post by: 11 on October 07, 2013, 06:57:09 PM Good luck :o

Btc needs to go more mainstream for growth like that. It's happening but slowly.

Unless like, the US government endorses or something ;D BUT I am seeing more online companies accept bitcoin, which is great :) Title: Re: Another newbie Post by: nahtnam on October 08, 2013, 05:34:09 AM Welcome to the forums!
