Title: CGMiner and configuring GPU card
Post by: williston58802 on March 05, 2018, 11:56:58 PM
Hi,

I have the ASUS B250 motherboard and it says the GPU is working
Device Manager in Control Panel says it's installed and working
I have the GEForce GTX 1070 GPU

I made a batch file called runme.bat and it starts CGMiner
but it still doesn't see my GPU.

Here's what I typed into my batch file:
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mastermining.net:3114 -u crypyo9.Worker1 -p jpm21544

Here's what CGMiner tells me
 [2018-03-05 16:17:33] Started cgminer 3.7.2
 [2018-03-05 16:17:33] Started cgminer 3.7.2
 [2018-03-05 16:17:33] Loaded configuration file cgminer.conf
[2018-03-05 16:17:33] Probing for an alive pool
 [2018-03-05 16:17:33] Pool 0 difficulty changed to 1024
[2018-03-05 16:17:35] Maximum buffer memory device 0 supports says 390280806
[2018-03-05 16:17:35] Your scrypt settings come to 536870912
[2018-03-05 16:17:35] Error -61: clCreateBuffer (padbuffer8), decrease TC or increase LG
[2018-03-05 16:17:35] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0
[2018-03-05 16:17:35] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this.
 [2018-03-05 16:17:35] Try restarting cgminer.
