Title: Sportsbooks are/seem worse in 2018 than they were in 2015
Post by: N1CKH0LAS on March 06, 2018, 12:40:26 AM
Hey,
Just noticed that even the biggest sportsbooks ( eg: Cloudbet ) have trust issues lately. Also, Betcoin.ag has a trade rating of MINUS 130 or so and they are rated the second most trusted Sportsbook. Nitrogen are the only ones who remained OK, but we all know the beting options and live bets are very restricted at them.

So basically, in 2018 the only really trusted website based on most reviews here and on reddit would be Nitrogensports, everything else having scam acusations against them. Just came back after 3 years and the whole scene seem worse than before...

Is it THAT bad or am I missing something ?

Cloudbet, sportsbet were few of the trusted name but they have updated their TOS and KYC policy so they are quite strict with their account verification and full inspection of account if you win big amounts. This all is causing sudden account ban and delays in withdrawals. Many gamble with crypto to not share their personal infos but it is quite hard to save your identity these days.

Directbet which was one of the famous anonymous betting platform mysteriously shut down their operation (may be because of legal threat). This left nitrogensports as only platform that allow anonymous betting but with limited options.

That list seems to be carefully curated. 5Dimes, which is one of the most reputable sportsbooks in the world, is not listed there but they do accept Bitcoin.

Here is a more accurate list of books that take Bitcoin with ratings I would personally trust:

Also shows you what type of bonus you can expect when signing up.

DirectBet.eu closing was bad news to the crypto gambling scene, they were my favourite sports bookies by far. None of the others are as good as they were imo.

Yeah despite of their shitty live lines and high juiced odds I frequently use them because of how quick it is to place a bet on their site.

You forgot Onehash they also offer anonymous betting but the odds are different from nitrogen because of mutual betting.

We still have some sportsbook that lets you bet without having to submit your own info some examples are bitcoinrush, jetwin, coinbet24 and fairlay (I know this isn't a sportsbook but it offers good odds against other competitors).

Lots of sports bettors were really shocked when directbet decide to close its doors inspite on having a very good rating and reputation when it comes to sport betting.I have miss those days yet directbet do really suits when it comes on playing sports. Nitrogen do takes the place as far as i observed.Sites now isnt really becoming bad but those issues tied up with existing sports book seems just normal thing for me since some of them do suddenly changed up rules.

They weren't giving good lines anyway.  So they won't really be missed.  Not by me at least.  So far it's only Nitrogen that's giving a good service at par with some of the fiat based sites.

Which means one thing.  There's more room for other sites to enter the BTC sports betting scene.
