 There are some good reasons to believe 2018 is going to be an even greater year than its passed years. But sometimes checking the coinmarketcap everyday someone will be discouraged because of the red colors we see. Even Bitcoin going up and down, And has not cross $12k.
So what is you opinion about Crypto Space this year 2018 particularly Bitcoin?

My opinion:

Due to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general gaining so much publicity and attention from the government, 2018 is going to be a very bumpy ride. We're probably going to see a lot of both positive and negative news(bans, permissions, those stuff). So price wise, it's pretty much a coin flip I think. It could go sideways, it could skyrocket, it could also hit rock bottom.

What you said is correct. Because of government disturbances Crypto space will be up and down. Recently I watch in Channels station about England Regulating Bitcoin. Those things might contribute to drop of price of Bitcoin.

I believe that the crypto-currency market in 2018 expects a big advance. Crypto currency in 2018 can still go the way of their use as a means of payment, for which they were created, and not just a tool for investing. At the same time, I think the most popular digital currency - bitcoin - in the future can move new virtual money from the pedestal. Amateur mining of crypto-currency is likely to give way to the sun under the industrial.

Well, recent events caused a huge spike on adopters. The number of BTC atms are rising, more news being publishsed are about crypto (good and bad). So i guess price wise, the only way is up. But of course, government will be forever concerning. We dont know if which would ban or support. I do think we're on a period where eyes are on btc, and im optimistic most government would not just kill it.

Through the help of advertisements, I believe that 2018 will be a good year for bitcoin - more public attention which way to great investors and users.

I think that every country who gives out regulations on how their citizens have to handle crypto currencies, that government gives the people as well the security that they do not do anything illegal if they apply to those rules.
I see the positive thing about regulations: they put crypto currencies from from the grey area of legality into pure legality.
By the end of 2018 nearly every country will have made regulations for crypto currencies.
That is why I think we will experience a calmer ctypto market, because the speculation aspect on how the countries will handle crypto currencies will become smaller.

When people are doing something officially legal, I think it will encourage more people to try it. So maybe we will see a more steady growth.

Remember that crypto space is not just about the prices of coins. The technology and adoption are also factors here. There has been a lot of coverage in media lately, and usually negative -- ransomware, hacks, drop in price, bans, scams. But this year I think there will be more positive news in the sense that more people will understand blockchain technology and its value, more applications is day-to-day life and not just trading value. Regulation is tricky as it can go the negative way, that is, total ban. But I believe once governments try to regulate something, it is a recognition that the thing is legitimate. While we might not see tax-free incomes and 100% anonymous profit if there are regulations, we as early adopters have the advantage still. Once regulation is sorted out, more companies and people will adopt as they know for sure cryptos are not scams as is.

I remain optimistic, because the whole cryptocurrency market at present is in decline, but as governments for bitcoin status recognition, so the price of the bitcoin will rise, and lightning network deployment will solve the bitcoin defects at present.

Is still very early for us to start panicking just for the negative movement of the chart, but one thing am confident of is that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are going to spark up in price very soon this current sign are just for the main time it will all get better soon. Bitcoin chat is moving in the positive direction now very soon others will follow suit.

There are some FUD news also that affects the demand of bitcoin. Yet, we all know that the bans and permissions really affect the price of crypto but I think there are also some good ponts that happened in cryptocurrency by this year like the opening of Japan. It may also be the reason why does this year will be a bumpy ride for us.

This is why i'm scared when the government are trying to regulate bitcoin and cryptocurrency, this will cause panic sell even before it is realized. As i can see this industry showing a good progress, many ICO popping up even every day and seems like many speculators still believe in crypto, however we can't predict the future, just hoping for the best.

This year is very important for bitcoins. If bitcoins are able to touch $40000 this year, I will say that a  million is also possible in coming years.

You're on point. This year holds a lot for Bitcoin. There's so much to be hopeful for, So much we expect to happen. With more regulations coming into the space, It's hard to say what would happen. For other years where they were less strict regulation, It would've been easier. The current bear market seems to be till further notice pending when the negativity subsides.

In every big cycles of up's and down's of bitcoin it price spikes typically occur in the last months of the year. Like the recent spike in price last december next one will be crashes and the cycle continues on and on and on.

I think with the last years price peaks and can be surpassed this time even higher or if that did not happen probably next year. But surely with the rise of cryptocurrency and growing number of investors that are seeing crypto as a good way to earn it we have lots of chance that it will happen this year.

As the past years you will recognise that every year it is increases and at the near end of the year it going up at the highest peak of the year. Last year it's reaches to $20k it is so unbelievable but this year bitcoin price last year will surpass this year. And I'm sure with that.

They announced today that they will offer a Index fund for accredited investors. These Index funds is usually a mix bag, so

they will obviously include coins like Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum. Yes, it will bump Bitcoin too, but a lot of money that could

have been invested in Bitcoin, will now go into BCash and other Alt coins, that they support.   >:(

The one will cancel out the other... so we will just continue walking in one spot. {$10,000}  ???

if you want to see what price is and nothing else, you go check coinmarketcap.com or any site like that but when you want to see how the market has changed and whether it is rising or falling or else you go and check the charts instead. looking at the price and the percentage they offer in front of it is very misleading.
looking at the charts you can see that the performance was not that bad actually. price is rising towards $12k and the drops are getting smaller and smaller each time which is a good sign.

what i think of 2018 is that it may not be the same as 2017 because it was really a unique thing but at the same time i think we can expect a nice rise this year too because the big dump already happened and the recovery is strong so unless something bad happens, i don't expect any weird movements.

This year passed very fast. Much has changed, but with lower frequency. Still lots of ICO's (many i have skipped), still lots of launches, but people are less vocal right now, like they look around, showing up to find clues. 2016 was relatively green, and that helped crypto in 2017... Now, 2018? Mighty crypto gods help 2019.

You can see even in google trends that people started to look for answers, like how to short and all that.

i am sure that its getting more excited not than 2017 just watch in ber monnths  or january 2019  maybe it is so crazy because the bottom is nearly end and we will seee the big big pump so if i am you? buy a. lot of cryptos or bitcoins now.

I hope 2018 will be a great year for stabilize the cryptocurrency space, then in 2019 it will have big progress.

This year has been a bumpy ride for cryptos, lots of negative news in the cryptospace. Furthermore too much attention from goverment of different countries.I do not know whether Bitcoin will break its previous high of $17k this uear. But, one thing I am sure there will be regulations coming out soon for cryptos and lots of soft hand will leave the cryptospace.

Hopefully next year will bring a lot of good news.

in my view its a significant year for bitcoin .there are lots of event came and running about bitcoins future and i still believe bitcoin is very bullish and end of the year we will get result :)

This is still Q3 of 2018 and anything good can still happen until Q4 of this year in the crypto market. Though it has been a rough ride for btc in the past months  and I think that this is just part of a major correction. I still have high hopes for btc that it will continue to flourish and further improve in the coming months come. Let's wait and see after September 21 where the official decision from SEC will be announced regarding the ETF issue.

Year 2018 was predicted to be a great year for crypto but so far till now it has disappointed all. There are a lot of developments going on roght now like regulations, bans and FUDs etc. Just wait and once all this pass crypto will be good again.
