just curious to know the hash rate of the Xcell chip.

Just do a forum search, as far as I remember the PS3 hash rate was something slightly below 90 MH/s - so not really worth the hassle (too few hashes to be a good boost, too inefficient to mine longterm).

Edit: Ok, seems rather like 20 MH/s, give or take a few - even worse!
