Title: Question about newbies with 100+ merits Post by: nc50lc on March 08, 2018, 06:39:33 AM During my regular browsing in the Electrum Board I came across this user: GiGa# (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=258817)
who is a newbie and yet he already got the 100 default merit for Full Members which is not received nor displayed in his merit summary. One theory I am thinking is he was a Full Member before January 25, 2018, previously banned which deleted all his posts then successfully recovered his account just recently leaving 100 merits to his account. Or is it just a bug? Any thoughts? It doesn't necessarily mean they were banned, just that the posts have been deleted. It is possible that they decided to do that themselves for some reason unknown.

Feb. 26, 2014. I noticed exactly the same thing. It doesn't necessarily mean they were banned, just that the posts have been deleted. It is possible that they decided to do that themselves for some reason unknown. I think you are right, I think his/her reason is to try the merit system, and it causes the decrease of his/her rank. |
