In an effort to offer all of you more quality content, CryptoSource is very excited to announce our new Earn & Be Heard program!

Due to the recent opening of of our doors to advertisers (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307385.0), CryptoSource has generated some extra revenue and it's now time to bring our blog to the next level.

The program allows anyone willing to write up an article to earn some Bitcoin! Simply submit your article to us along with any artwork or imagery you want included, if we approve your article and post it on our site, we will send you some Bitcoins!

In addition, you will be able to accept additional tips for each individual article you write, so if users like your article, you can earn even more!

Payment

• Payment amount for the articles are at the discretion of CryptoSource.org staff.
• Payment will be made once an article is posted.
• Articles can be held by CryptoSource and posted at a later date. Just because you submit an article today, does not mean we need to post it today. The posting date is at the discretion of CryptoSource.org and is dependent on our current budget.

• Article must contain 400 words or more.
• Article must be original. No copy/pasted material will be accepted.
• Articles are subject to review and you will only be paid if the article is used on the site.
• Articles must be written in college level English.
• Articles must be crypto currency related.

Even though your article is spun to a point of passing a copyscape test, we review each article manually before posting it. We are well versed in article spinning software and will know right away if your article is spun. Spun articles will be rejected.

If you do wish to use spun articles as a starting point, please revise the article to make sure the sentences flow properly and read in proper english.

This program is meant for people to earn a few extra coins for writing about something they are passionate about. It is not a system to be gamed.

The prices we are currently paying may seem low for some. We are currently working with advertisers to get a larger budget and will be paying accordingly. We are also working on a loyalty program offering larger payouts to frequent contributors as well as a future voting system / traffic monitor to give the best performing articles author's an extra bonus.

Keep submitting your articles. Good things are in the works and loyal contributors will eventually be rewarded.

Even after the absurd price rise you are paying 8 dollars for a original breaking news article, do you expect to receive any of those ? Well, at least all the prices are so low that it seems unlikely you won't pay the poor writers.

We usually take care of the breaking articles ourselves. Keep in mind we are simply a small blog for now. We are getting about 1000 hits a day so we are still getting up off our feet. This is merely a program so people can write about what they are passionate about and earn a few bucks while doing it. Simply by looking at the numbers, it simply wouldn't make much business sense to pay out more than the article would generate. Also, we're simply asking for a 400 word article here, we're not looking to award anyone a Pulitzer prize ;)

Once the site gains momentum and reaches a wider audience, we will be able to afford to offer larger payouts and perhaps even hire full time writers. Writers which could very well be found by simply submitting a few pieces of work on our site.

Explain why you think bitcoin needs or would somehow benefit from excessive mediocrity.

That which is worth doing is worth doing well, why are you promoting halfassedness?

These things where an author submits everything to the whims of your discretion is unattractive unless you can establish some sort of WoT presence.

I'm looking for opportunities to write for other venues but right now your terms and the impression your content leaves me with is unattractive.

Not at all. We review each submission for spelling, grammar and content. As I said, this isn't our primary business model, it's simply an small added feature for those who are interested to submit something and earn a few bucks. If you think the rewards aren't worth the effort, then don't submit. It's as easy as that ;)

We are working on building trust. It's much easier said than done. Those statement are merely there to protect us. We do not want to publish content simply because it was submitted, we want to publish relevant and interesting content. Unfortunately, some people always try to bend the rules and will expect payment for submitting garbage. All that text really means is that if we like your article, we will publish it and you will get paid. If we don't use your article we won't use it. It's as simple as that.

Most of the time, if we are holding an article we will still pay up front as well as give you the date/time that it will be published.
