Bitcoin price decreases 1000$ within a hour. And now, its price is only about $8800
Some my friends said that it could be dump to around 6k$, even 4k$
What do you think?

Just waiting untill the price reach lowest price, that's good time to buy bitcoin, because bitcoin will be back go up afterter decline, this seem like a few month ago around december 2017 - january 2018. the same thing happen, but after that's the price increased again. I think this will be same like before.

It sounds like your friends like to make up shit. What are they basing that off of? They think that 1/2 of the market is going to sell their bitcoins because they're dropping? I really highly doubt that people will fall for this FUD over and over and over. Markets just get smarter as time goes on, not stupider. The SEC can say whatever they want, but it doesnt change the true value of bitcoin. People selling where into bitcoins for the wrong reasons (to earn more fiat) and they'll be left behind shortly. That's not really a concern in the big picture. 10% is a small smaller move when you look at what we've accomplished so far. I feel sorry for anyone that sells themselves so short on what could have been an amazing future.

We already experienced such crises in past, but those people who wait and remain patient in such crises i think they succeeded and got a good profit, inexperienced investors get panic and they start selling due to decreasing price of bitcoin, but we have seen that bitcoin price for every time got a good support from mature investors and this time hoping so. Therefore we can hope that very soon the price will come back to its original position.

all possibilities can happen, I think this situation is so difficult to take every decision. initially I thought this month bitcoin will grow slowly, but my guess is misses. I just wait until bitcoin falls on the lowest value then buy it again.

Its very Sad watching bitcoin price dropping. But I keep Holding my coins, because if I sell it, it may affect the price also my earnings. Also, I'm very sad now, because I have no money to buy again bitcoin. Hopefully bitcoin price will down only in $9,000 dollar.

Almost $3,000 decrease for just a couple of days and if this will be continuous it can drive again back to $6,000. But about $4,000? That's another level if bitcoin pulls down rapidly. I don't know on how long this bearish market will end and I thought its about time that after reaching $9,000 it will be the time for bitcoin to break and try to $12,000 but it seems not.  :-\

I dont see any genuine reason for this dumb major reason would be Binance hacking attempt ( its just attempt) and SEC regulation its really good for crypto currency future . I dont know why even this dump happening.

We are literally on the event horizon guys, getting sucked up with all the money that we have. Dam don't understand why this is going down so suddenly. I know there is FUD and all the bad news all over but it doesn't mean that it should be dropping like this crazy. We are down to 8.6K USD already and don't know where this will go now. Im already loosing lot of money because of this.  :P

I think im considering myself to invest more From my real life salary. As I cant sell my bitcoin becasue it is already in loss so I cant do the computing really. Whatever it is im just being calm about it.

Ohh no,I didn't expect this price fall after that good recovery.But it is a good chance to buy bitcoin for the low price and never miss this golden opportunity.Investors don't get panic just remember the recent price growth of bitcoin so it can make it again so just hold it.

It seems like the 12,000$ level is hard to break that is why we are experiencing this kind of decrease in the market. All together with bad news it created another panic selling where everyone participated including me. Before it got down from 11,000$ I immediately shifted my money to Fiat as this thing is expected to happen. What is left to do from other members is to hold or sell hoping that it will go down more. Either way we can get through this as this is one of the many cycles of Bitcoin.

if you can invest for long term you can see in future bitcoin will go very high and decrease of 1000$ is very rare.

I bet you, your friends owns no bitcoins? Those kind of predictions are the stupidest advice they can give you, because it is based on their theory that the price will go much lower than that. I never listen to armchair experts when I make financial decisions.

I do proper research and I use common sense. In every commodity known to man, you will find a correction phase in the price curve and this is no different for Bitcoin. It is up to you, if you are willing to take the risk and possibly reap the rewards at the end.

Good 'ol Bitcoin. $1000 in a day is nothing. We've seen $1000 hourly candle before. There's a possibility that we're retesting those $5K levels although that seems unlikely. I personally would be okay with it, cheap BTC could only mean buy for me.

There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Binance exchange. The Binance admins are not revealing whether any of their funds were stolen or not. If the funds were actually stolen, then there is a good chance that the exchange rates may go below $7,000 per coin.

It's not rare actually it is normal in the crypto world, some of the coins will go beyond the crash that leaves no value at all for just 1 day of its cycle, bitcoin loses almost 10k plus USD over a weeks of its dump so that's a normal scenario for their fluctuations in additions of FUD's and negative news about it.

Bitcoin or any crypto price gets down and bounce back in double, do not panic and please wait for the good things to come  in a month or two. You cannot expect Bitcoin to be always in higher price since crypto market is always volatile.

Exactly this .. As wisely stated above, the best thing you can do is just hold, don't have weak hands and panic sell. With all drops in times of panic, it opens up a great window for a chance to buy more as well.

Yes, it's still going down, but if it goes down to $6,000, then I think I'll buy a lot, because $6,000 is the cost of digging up bitcoin. So I think it's a good choice to buy bitcoin at a cost price.

It's been a trend for a while that Bitcoin price changes very quickly and this can happen in both ways so I'm actualy not surprised.
The price is down now and this makes perfect time for buying, especialy for day traders.

I dont think that we will see 4000 dollars for Bitcoin price , yess Bitcoin price decreases 1000 dollars but i think it is good chance for to buy Bitcoin for long term.

Hitting 10K one hundred times is just as good as waiting for it to get to 100k (maybe never).

I would say it is normal fluctuations that has just extended for more time.There is nothing to worry in it.This kind of market ups and downs are due regular buying and selling, in short day trading.Sometimes the fluctuations are positive and sometime they are negative depending on what is increasing,buying or selling.

It is quite painful to watch the price of bitcoin during this period, I think if the price of bitcoin are going to drop below $8000 USD, it might cause another waves of panic selling in the crypto-currencies trading market and this might cause bitcoin price to continue falling towards the $7000 USD level.

I believe that has already begun. Half of the dump or at least a quarter maybe is because of the panic selling happening right now. Every time when there is a reason for the price to dump, like right now it is because of the mass selling of Bitcoins by Mt Gox, along with SEC's announcement of regulating cryptocurrencies, exchanges and wallets, the panic sellers play a very pivotal role to extend it even more. If the price is to dump 50% of its value, it gets extended to 70% or more because of the panic-selling scenario.

What i said its a nature of bitcoin or should i say nature of all crypto and digital currencies.But there's an other feature if the price fall it will increase double. All the thing start happening in the begin of January and if you talk about its decreasing its just 2 months past.There's still 10 months left and its to much early to say such thing. Better to invest more its a right time, or you feel regret when the bitcoin breaks their records.

2018 may be extremely difficult with bitcoin and altcoin. price keeps falling. In early January the price of bitcoin also dropped to 7k .

I think the bitcoin price will continue to decrease as low as 7k, 6k or 4k is not possible.

These wild rides were also experienced in the past, so nothing new in that. Also, finally we got a definite reason why market is falling so brutally and that is due to selling by Mt.Gox. This reason can fuel the fire of selling  and we can reach to the level of 6K$ again, but the best thing is that market will recover and stand again after some time. Last month also it hit to as low of nearly 6k$ but see what we recovered that also, so one should not worry about that and be safe from panic selling.

Hm, in one hand I do hope so, new dip for investors but on the other hand I don't, just for the simple reason that i don't want to see the price go that low, tho the new fiscal year starts in april so untill then it probably will remain at this or go slightly lower.

It is time to get greedy when others are fearful. During these dips, if you have funds, buy more BTC. From the past 2 days, at exactly 16:00 UTC, a massive sell-off happened. Today, the downfall happened at 1:00 UTC. The pattern signifies a downtrend in BTC price. Mt. Gox and other FUDs are haunting BTC for now.

i believe that is a shocking hits to investors who already bought btc at 11k$ few days ago, i can not imagine how can btc drop that fast in just 1 hour, i think the market is dumping bitcoin very fast to correct from the bad news, rightnow the price of btc is recovering from the drops, surely it will not drop below 8k$ so dont loose your calm and dont sell in panic, HOLD.
