Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

I prefer like to hold masternode coin such as XCPO it is good coin with honest developers. I also like to trading it in Cryptopia, I just hear about this coin a few time ago. I miss the chance to invest in itr ICO when it price only 100 satoshi. The price now is over 700 satoshi now.

Both of them have massive coin supply in their Billions. That is why the price is very low and it's very difficulty for them to increase their price because every cent will double their market cap. I think it's still too early for the both projects at the moment we are not there yet but not a bad idea to buy some and hold them.

1. Sia signed a deal with ClearCenter (an HP partner) last week and listed on Binance a few hours ago.
2. Dent just signed agreements in Nigeria, Bangladesh and South Africa. Its Android App downloads topped a million downloads earlier this month and was trending above Google's own app in Mexico.

So far I remain optimistic with my decisions here.

Back to the original question, what are you long on folks and why?

I am long on BTC, ETH, Waves and BNB. BTC and ETH are major coins so I think everyone should long same amount. Binance coin is very promising and I do not believe that it is gonna lose value. WAVES is also good project. Everyone needs decentralized exchange eventually.

Bitcoin is the best one to hold for long run. To save for long run, you have to buy at low price. With the godluck ,the price of bitcoin is very low.This will be the best time to increase in bitcoin and hold it for longer periods. Bitcoin is know as the legend in cryptocurrency, because the investment in bitcoin surely gives profit at certain stage.

I'am long on EOS and VeChain because both have a lot of product development and things lined up on their roadmap as well as big productive teams.

I also bought some units of dent of recent  from okex exchange and I have determined to hold it for the next two years before trading or sell them!  Bitcoin should be the head of my holding and I do keep around 90% of my cryptocurrencies holding in it.  I don't think we should be in hurry to sell our holding now because good news is in future.  I am also holding lino, cjt, utt, tron, lisk and stratis.  I expect the foregoing coins and tokens to do very well in three to four years to come.

I go long on, because I can buy really cheap coins and wait some time to sell them more, so I think this is really good way to get money.

Long on with TRON and ADA. Good ideas, great realization.
Tron started their platform recently, so wait for the moon.

I have to choose always for long term investment of BTC because it is the one  who the top price value ever, everybody have a choice but try to look at the difference between Bitcoin versus all other different coins Bitcoin is really great highest performance consistent in terms of dominating aspect. problem of price value of bitcoin  is very easy try to get your self into normal situation just always relax do not getting stress and think if your mind is not bored the results is wow, its fresh. You realized that for long term investment of BTC is good, but  you don't forced your self going into difficult situation just do that if you have fully understanding about investment in bitcoin and have enough money to fund it. but if not just stay in Signature bounty campaign to raised the fund for your future investment.

Marketcap-wise DENT has more space to grow. And it also has a couple of big exchanges to hit. So from the two I would choose Dent. Otherwise neither is my preferred coin for long term investment.

Maybe those you have mentioned coins above are profitable but once they are altcoin and not at the top of the market cap there's a possibility that they going to cheap soon, for more assurance it's better to hold old coins. For me, no doubt those coins have already well known and old coins are good in holding for a long long run.
No other than bitcoin and ethereum was on my top in my priority to longer hold.

good question. i am long on blockchain projects such as neo wanchain and waves because they are very innovative plus there are new icos upcoming using their blockchains. so demand is going to increase for sure.

Do not fixate on certain coins. In order for your financial portfolio to grow, you need to timely transfer one coin to another, from altcoins to bitcoin and back. And it can be completely different coins.
If you hold on to one coin for a long time, many pumps can pass you by.

I long for a chance to earn the huge amount of btc. That waw my long hope but if that won't happen atleast I did my best and I try to reach my goals.

I have great hopes for ICON and Enigma. Icon is an infrastructural platform designed to connect various institutions including financial, educational and health institutions. It already has a lot of support in South Korea. Enigma is a privacy-oriented blockchain created by guys from MIT.

I'm longing for the best future for my kid's and I know that through bitcoin l can make it because as l can see  bitcoin is the only way for me to get rich. There are many people become rich because of bitcoin so l am one of them also expecting to be a millionaire created by bitcoin.

Eth since ethereum is one of the best altcoins of bitcoin. As we all know that other people are encouraging to buy crypto in coins.ph and literally most of the time deciding on it to hold long or sell into the price where you could be able to earn. Holding long crypto will benefit you in the near future for sure and there is no doubt about it especially if crypto has low amount when you but it.

SIA has been pumped way back isn't it? But I'm glad that according to you SIA and Dent has its own partnership with different entity and might probably can impact the market in the long run. But as far as your questions, I still hold Bitcoin and ETH for long term. I no longer invested on altcoin, although there are few in my portfolio but its just for me to play around with that coins for my trading experiments. Nothing spectacular about them though, so I wouldn't bother to list it out here. But there are some members who listed some of their coins, so its good that most of us are still in this market and have high hopes that we can make a lot of profits in the long run.

I would go for Bitcoin. The latter is the definition of "Patience". You have to be patient in order to have a good result in the end. I am not sure about this sudden fall of btc price. But I am sure it will recover. Added to that, if you just buy btc at this current price, you will gain a huge profit in the future. It is not guaranteed, but still it is the best coin to rely on. And I will never stop believing in it even if it goes under $1000.

Besides Bitcoin, I am holding Litecoin, Ethereum for long term.
Litecoin has shown good stability in the past 3 years. It is called as silver to Bitcoin's gold and allows me to make transactions four times faster than Bitcoin. Also, adoption by Coinbase has increased the coin's market price making it a good coin for profit gains.
Ethereum similarly is not only used as an investment asset but also as a token for smart applications and also as a platform for posting new ICOs. The coin hence opens new horizons in the financial market and hence has a lot of potential. I believe that the coin can cross the $1500 mark by the end of 2018.

So you chose Sia because it's storage coin, just that? What about Burst? I think those aren't even the only coins that focus on this.
I have almost 80% of all my money in BTC and some more in other cryptocurrencies like ETH and ADA. I also have some unclaimed forks that i'm holding whether I like it or not, like BCH, BTG, and all the rest. I didn't want to risk my keys, so I sold all those on my hot wallets and didn't touch the cold storage. I think that was a mistake, especially with BTG. I doubt that this shitcoin will go back to its former glory.

Currently PRiVCY and EOS. First of all, they are both really cheap now. PRiVCY is something relatively new on the market and they have an outgoing airdrop, so  :D EOS is one of the projects that had me instantly on innovation and idea beside the project. It will moon quite soon since they are separating their technology from ETH, which is impressive.

I'm going long on several decentralized exchanges coins, I invested in many of those projects thinking that even if I fail in many of my investments as long as I get some of them right then I will make money as those coins skyrockets, after all we really need decentralized exchanges as we get more regulations in centralized exchanges.

Im on long term hold for SIA also and have been for about 12 months,
the current market situation is being looked at negatively by some people
but its a great opportunity to average out those buy prices with bear market.

SIA has been mentioned a few times already, is a solid hard working project
with good forward moving developments,
I truly believe in its future along with my love affair with BTC and LTC.

Bitcoin has been my ultimate choice for the past two years and it would still continue.

I'm only long on Bitcoin at the moment. I sold all my altcoins because when Bitcoin enters bear market altcoins usually lose much more value. They have no real acceptance so they tend to get into extreme lows. I hold Bitcoin because I Believe in it. I sometimes sell it when I see the market is about to crash but then quickly buy it back cheaper. I don't want to miss the opportunity when the rocket ship launches again.

I hold oax for the long term because except my habit of hodling it is basically long term project. I would only trade it if I like short term invesment.

I would choose to purchase some crypto currencies with very low prices and potential, such as holo (Hot)!

I usually prefer to choose coins with comparatively less supply, like say 10million to 50million supply. These coins have the tendency to increase massively if they have a good project to back them.

Aside from bitcoin I have XEM on my wallet and planning to hold it for good, XEM is one of a great blockchain technology right now, the price is able to stable on 3k sats and I really think this can be a big thing in the future. XEM will be worth more than a dollar in the coming years, watch this coin out!

Sia can also have a bright future so keep on holding. Personally, I hold Utrust for long aside from bitcoin because I know Utrust can become more big in the future, the price are still undervalued grab now before it hits a dollar again. A lot of good coin to hold for long term, make time for it.

I long for more bitcoin and ethereum and for them to reach its peak.I been holding my coins waiting to hit the profit that i long for but it is still invain now due to constant value dropping but i anyway losing hope is not our piece.We have good faith that sooner we will get it.

Actually I could not understand your idea completely. Do you promote these coins for a fee? I cannot understand why I should buy these coins. You consider that they are cheap but it is not the excellent argument because market is still bearish and crypto assets can slash else lower. As for me I consider that it need not to buy anything now because market is still in the strong downtrend so while the best decision is to wait and not to buy anything right now.

what I miss now is that I miss when I get money, I use trading in the long term, I have never made a profit, I miss a lot of profit, I will continue to make investments to make small profits.

what I miss is when the price is above when the profit can be quite encouraging, when buying at a price below and selling the price above, the one I miss even by everyone is the same, maybe missed that time.

the thing I miss most is when I hold bitcoin and after that the price goes up and I sell my bitcoin and I get unexpected benefits, and I look forward to it again when it will happen again.

Sia has been cheap even until now and it has been one of the coins that are stable and consistent. I'm not so sure about Dent but there are holders there that has included it to their portfolio's.

ETH is also cheaper today, why you didn't included it to your choice? Each person that's diversifying into altcoins for sure has ETH on their bags. I've read a tandem for SIA and that is digibyte which is also a consistent one.

Since you are not allowing bitcoin in the OP then the answer is simple I'm going long on ethereum, before some people think that I'm crazy because they have seen ethereum crashing in the last weeks, I will say that is precisely the reason to go long on ethereum I think that from now on in the next weeks were going to see a substantial recovery of the price and you are going to make a lot of profits with very little effort.

Sorry mate but upon checking that choices of yours i found nothing in future but a shitcoin,theres no even a potential about that two altcoins.

For this bad market i never add some new coins but i choose TOkens since they are more cheaper and somes are free,since  i am for long term investments so i can afford to wait even how long it would take to have good value,or even if they die i have nothing to lose

Bitcoin is what most people long for before anything else. Everyone believe in its potential along the market. I also have ETH and BCH on my wallet. I used to invest on it because it is available on my exchange where I can buy them easily when the price cheaper and can monitor that easy if there is a growth for the price.

I choose Long on for BTC I'm agree to buy more coins for the future investment I'm still holding for a long period of time no need to panic for selling because our coins is useless if we have to discharge and compromise without any assurance to get profit.

I have Sia and Monero for long hold. I dont know what gonna happened in this year. Maybe we gonna see rise, but more likely in next year.

im long on romad, the reasons cause its the first anti virus and listed on 2020 horizon project. I believe romad could become bigger antivirus company and the coin will be use to use the product, they also have a erc20 wallet that use romad coins too. So i believe in this project and good things could be happening in this coins.

I hold long on ETH, Bitcoin, DGB, EXP, STR, XRP. why did i do that? because I'm stuck at a high price. Well i am not only longing to hold crypto but instead i am longing to be rich here in cryprocurrency. I did not mean to be rich that instantly but this could be one of the way that i could get thar longing for. Bitcoin has much potential it can pump in nights and trade with eth can give me profit in trades.I never invest with any other alt coins i chose bitcoin and eth.

The two coins you mentioned are alright and they are cheap too just like you said, but one thing about these coins is that they have unlimited supply and that makes them to remain at a lower price, it’s always difficult for them to increase in price rate. But there is nothing wrong with buying and keeping them though it’s going to probably take a long time before you benefit from them.

According to me, the most promising coin for a long term investment is Ethereum. The coin is the most popular crypto and has one of the best development teams behind it. It currently has a market capital of $23.3 billion and can cross the $700 mark easily in the next few months.
I find the coin's idea of smart and ledger contracts which can hold state and arbitrary code quite revolutionary. It is also a great coin for making transactions as it provides fraud free transactions due to its back end security.
It is a good potential coin and I am expecting good returns from it.

    I have Ethereum`s! Now when price is so low I`m buying more. This is great opportunity to buy Ethereum`s for $200.

   I`m long on many coins, tokens, platforms. I think many of existing ones have potential for great future. My most favorites
are the ones that are getting out now and they are very cheap.

Aside from the top coins, I am holding Xem, Utrust and also Sia because I believe in the future of these coins though there is no sure in the future but I am willing to take the risk of holding on. I believe if bull run happens again, the price of this great coins will follow that bull trend and it will make profit on my portfolio.

Almost all coins are should be long on since they are all below ICO price, but almost all of us waiting for BTC and ETH pump, that will influence the market and all alts to increase in rate too.

I find it difficult to go long on Ethereum because I view it as somewhat of a utility to others and so there is a conflict of interest.

Its nature is such that it doesn't make sense for the price to go up because then it costs more for the people who are using it. If we put aside speculation, then the more useful Ethereum becomes (as a result of more people and businesses using it) the more incentive there is to push down the price. For example, if I develop a useful platform based upon Ethereum, then at the very least it helps to know that my costs from one month to the next will at least be constant or going down instead of going up with the price of Ethereum.

Perhaps I'm being naive? If so, enlighten me!

Why are some people always looking for coins just because they are they are cheap? 🙄I was just going through comments here and a lot of people here were just choosing coins just because they are cheap, does that even make any sense? It’s a no to me, price doesn’t matter when I’m making my choice, I rather look at other qualities of a particular coin and its potential than looking at price.

According to me bitcoin is the best to hold for long term. All coins are good but when compare to profit bitcoin is the best investment. Bitcoin is good for both long term and short term. Buy bitcoin when its price is low and hold it for long term. Surely the price will increase always long term will give more benefits. That's why people hold it for ling term.

If you want to invest at long term, you can try bitcoin is best solution for investment, never try new or some altcoin do not have great team and owner, I have found many altcoin become lower price and scam for invetsment.

So what are you long on then?

At the moment aside bitcoin which I believe is obvious for most crypto enthusiasts to invest in on a long term basis. Dent is what am trying hard to invest in on a long term basis because it is practically new in my country and they are doing amazingly well in terms of their products and services.

I will only invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Those two coins are the only coins I trust and believe they have a bright future.
There is a big community behind them and they already proved they can survive all crysis.

I think ether and wave token are good for long term ether now are very low and its time to buy and hold it wave token also are good because they have own market like bitcoin that is why both of them are good to hold for a long term.

I think that is a selfish statement if you think only bitcoin is the best place to invest. If you want to open your eyes a little wider, then I am sure you will see there are many altcoins that have tremendous potential and are only slightly below bitcoin.

My long term investment is with BTC and ETH because I don't want to put money in a coin that I'm not sure about their future. Its too risky to do that especially in a volatile market. There some good altcoins too that its good to hold, just find for that coin and make a fortune with it.

Bitcoin for me will always be the first on the list and all other altcoins are just by the way which to me they only serve their short term purpose which is huge gains and from the way the market is currently and the level of speculation of people within the space, it is always easy to manipulations, pumps and dumps in altcoins, and the fact that they are not serving their main purpose yet when it comes to real life usage is one thing that is still affecting them across board.

Yeah, the same thing happens with bitcoin, but we all know bitcoin is more of the first cryptocurrency with a lot of support to keep it going while most people certainly for now, see the altcoins as just a mere way to make some more profit in the long run.

I do long term on xlm and universa. The reasons cause both are good project, xlm partnership with ibm which is really good company and ibm also manage wallmart blockchain technology and for universa i do think the cappability to process so many transaction in one second is really good and have a conpetitive advantages.

We do that everytime and I am waiting for that to happen for some months now but I am still feel good with the prices these days since looking at the Bitcoin prices of the past, you can see the huge difference.

We don't know what will be the price of Bitcoin these year, I mean the ATH this year. Will it be the ATH of the year or the ATH that will beat the highest from the last year which is the ATH until now.

Well I admire your confidence on promoting those coins. I know that it is good to hold long crypto because it continuously grow day by day on its liquidity of coin price. You must be sitting on huge losses now if you didn't close your position. Guess they were not so cheap back then. Fantastic product? Never heard of its implementation. I hope you learn a lesson or two from that trade.

I didn't long on anything besides Bitcoin. Never really trust alts that much. I have had some long position on alts but it's usually just a very short term position, just riding some potential good moves. Those features and products in altcoins are just buzzwords IMO. Only very few really deliver their product. Even those who deliver would still following the overall market trend in the end.

ETH and Bitcoin :).

Bitcoin because I have always been in love with the idea since day one and eth because it has dropped way more than it deserves because of the all the troubles with ICO's not getting enough funding or the ones that got enough funding paid a lot for tokens they give out for ETH and now that ETH is lower those ICO owners lost money on ETH drops on both ways so they want to get rid of it.

With eth going so low and miners can't keeping it up enough I think it will skyrocket to a great level soon because it can't stay as low as this when even mining it costs more. Miners will not sell at these prices and the price will be just temporary.

It is better to prefer bitcoin and Ethereum along with some high potential altcoins. Split your investment don't stick on with two or three then only you can able to manage profit or less.  So pitch into them. Never hesitate investing into these coins. Find out coins with cheap price and good growth trend.

I still spend my savings to invest in cryptocurrency and I believe that is a right choice for me. Recent markets are showing signs of recovery and I believe that everything will be fine in early 2019.

I am into collecting altcoins right now. The chances is better as i can see it. Positivity also is my main assurance. My other longing is to become a trader.

I am holding credit because they are building a blockchain that will perform millions of transaction per sec though with their recent tests, they have not achieved that yet, I am holding telcoin, they want to use telecom companies to send and receive money from different countries, though no partnership yet, but i am holding these coins and i will hold on for a very long time because i believe if they achieve their aim, it will be big.

I have long position on RavenCoin and i am plan to hold at least 3 years. I have faith that this coin will be profitable in the future because this coin like bitcoin and ethereum in same time

I think I'll stick to the classic Ethereum. I know it may be not doing great right now but it is still a coin i see more potential than BTC. The suggestions here are great, but for what i can see, a coin that is used often gets to be a stabler coin than a coin that's bein kept inside a vault never to see the light of day.

I believe in ETH and few other coins have being buying it on dips and staying long for these coins as find a huge market in coming future and things will change the way many things work in this online space. BTC will always be the king of the coins.
 

I am still long on some altcoin like adex, ethereum and ripple, I think all my asset become more higher price at the future and I am faith with my altcoin asset become higher price. just wait and see for several month to get my asset on top price.

I am currently holding Ethereum, because i believe in it. We have seen last year that Ethereum was over $1.200. There is a lot of potential to double your money easy. I just don't get why people sometimes say Ethereum is a scam. So much fud last days.

I am always going to be long on bitcoin forever even though I still go long on altcoins to increase my bitcoin stash in the long run anyway but altcoins are just basically short term, they always come back down to meet me after selling the peaks and until then when i can see they are now being sustainable on their own, I would not give a damn about holding alts for too long anymore.

For the moment though, with altcoins, I am long on most of the top 20 coins with ADA, Waves and NEO being my major target for some good gains, I guess we have to wait and see how things would unfold.

Mine are Kucoin, Golem and Utrust. These altcoins are still fresh and does not have a lot of controversies unlike other altcoin projects there that will just give you a lot of frustrations. When I check these coins, I always see the progress and they just keep working.

There is no doubt in claiming that ETH is the best coin and might have great features than Bitcoin has but i think that it will not be able to give a tough time to Bitcoin. The reason is than that even if there is a rise in the value of ETH, the rise in the price of Bitcoin will be much more than that of ETH.

This is one reason it cannot beat Bitcoin even in future for ultimately the market decides on the basis of demand in addition to the exogenous factors involved.

Besides, the ratio of profit in Bitcoin is the only point of attraction for the people and more and more people are switching to this technology than ETH. This is my motivation to prefer Bitcoin over the rest of the coins.

My first priority is also bitcoin because there is a lot of difference between bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin is the leading crypto in the market and the market cap is very high than any other crypto in the world. If you want to make huge profits then you should invest in bitcoin. Ethereum is also good but not number 1. Growth in the price is not high and you will make profit after a long time.

I will stick with Bitcoin for a long time. That's for sure . I still think it will be a tool of the future. It is a useful tool in transactions. And it should be believed to represent a certain value. Right now it's depreciating, but that's not why I'm going to leave it. This is not the end of Bitcoin. It will soon return unexpectedly.

Looks like the market is pretty much moving at the pace of snail. Its like we can have lot of chances this time to buy the desired coins and make profits out of them. We can choose many coins because :
1) They are in the worst bearish trend
2) Bear always follows big bull run with expected ATH prices for sure
3) Most of the coins are getting heavy volumes these days thus making sure the up rising soon.

I am a hodler of ethereum and I see almost all the coins to be in a dip. I am currently buying more ethereum and holding them for a better market tomorrow.

Since we cannot say that we are going long on bitcoin because that is excluded by the OP the only other coin in which I am really interested for the long term is ethereum, I know that things have not being very good during the last months and especially during the last weeks for ethereum but despite all of that I still have no doubt that it is a coin that I need to hold, however I do not know if I will have to hold my coins for months or years in order to see profits.

But that is not really a problem because I am completely ready to keep holding my coins even if the price of ethereum keeps going down for the short term since the size of my investment in ethereum is not as big as my investment in bitcoin.

I agree. It is a good start to buy more bitcoin when you believe in the potential of it to grow in the market and get he profit. That is what I hold and I am willing to wait longer to see how worth it is. Do not panic when the price falls because many are longing for this time and buy cheaper. It is late to cut losses but not for those who take risks and gonna hold it to gain from it.

Bitcoin is still the most popular and most expensive cryptocurrency, don't get me wrong but in terms of having a lot of other cryptocurrencies under it's belt, ETH has a lot of them and most of these crytpos are getting traded for ETH. Saying that, it will make the demand of ETH high and in the long run, it's price will also follow the steps of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin, Ethereum because both have so much potential and the price is definitely not what it should be. Let me first explain about why etherum here. Right now, the price is under 200 dollars and I was long for Ethereum even when it was 200 dollars, now it is much more appealing and I have been trying to gather as much of it as I can afford because I believe it will be a lot more in the near future.

We all know bitcoin is great and expensive and all that because it is the first one and biggest name but right after that Ethereum is the biggest currency with the highest utility. It has so many features that is used by so many different sectors that it makes it valuable. The price went down because of this sudden sell off but it doesn't really worth this much it worth a lot more considering there is always buyers for it.

Certainly, Ethereum will recover and even gain much, but you must be ready to hold this altcoin. I am sure that when the bull run starts, this cryptocurrency will be growing very fast.

Isn't Ethereum's utility its own downfall when it comes to deriving returns from the price? It doesn't make sense for the price to go up because the stakeholders want to keep the price low in order to maximize on utility. I really miss the price of Bitcoin in 2017, making everyone excited, like coins, BTC, ETH, BCD, and Steller, all hoping this year could be a historic moment for coins and cryptocurrency, whether cheap or high prices. I don't know what happened this year good or bad for the whole coin.

I am holding none of these 2 coins and have exited most of the alt coins. Most of the alt coins that I purchased also belonged to the top 10 category based on the coinmarketcap.

It is true that one can make a fortune by posting a good coin from new entrants but it is too much risk for me and thus I avoided it.

Right now, I'm more conservative and held Ethereum and Bitcoin cash. I don't have any experience in trading per se so I'd stick to these coins to deal with first to feel out the market and get a handle on how things are. Sia and Dent is a really good coins and both of them have cheap price on market and if you see the market both of them have good volume. But, as of now I choose ethereum for a long term because of their new upgrade.

I don't think buying in the first 100 in a coinmarketcap can guarantees that you can make a profit and besides that not all of them have cheap prices? Technical analysis is needed to sort out potential altcoins, and in my opinion XRP, Stellar, and SIA are worth to buying and hold..

That is very common, that happened to me recently with waves, I have been waiting for an opportunity to buy waves and I did it two months ago and I have been watching the market for those two months and finally I got desperate and I sold my waves and then out of nowhere the price skyrocketed and I missed those profits by just two weeks, if I had held my waves for two additional weeks now I will have incredible profits.

So that should be a lesson not only for me but for anyone that bothers to read this post, if you really believe in a coin you need to keep holding it because sooner or later if the coin is as good as you think it is, it is going to give you the profits that you are looking for.

SIA and Dent is good coin. When market start recover again, i think Dent and SIA will rising the price. Both coin have good community and the developers team is solid.

Just like the last year ETH shows potential market price increase compared to bitcoin. But, if it is bull run then for sure that bitcoin has still the edge compared to ETH. Key is the good coin but I think you should include some top 10 coins from the coin market cap in your list. Obviously the coins which have more volume has more chances that they will rise up good and will be safe in the long term. There are some new altcoins I think are worth investing in, still doing my research on Electrify Asia ($ELEC) and PundiX, but seem to be very good but I’m not jumping immediately, gotta have patience .

Those coins aside from credits are really for long term investment, if you want to maximize your earnings holding BTC, ETH, XRP and some other
new project that have real usage like EOS will able to bring you much better success and if you can accumulate while the value still cheap the expected

But, if I were you I will invest.in CHT one of a kind crypto to which market price always raising with the team doing trading. Many times the factors that make these coins rise when bitcoin falls, is due to the pump that can generate, obviously fall again, when people see the pump they want to enter to not miss the move, it is a double-edged sword, since Somehow all the altcoins depend directly or indirectly on the price of bitcoin.

I am still holding eth and I think is the best altcoin for keep holding and have potential on higher price, I check last time eth still on lower price but I will keep hold until price is growing up and could get profit.

I miss the lively bitcoin trade like 2017 where the owner of bitcoin is a reference for business investment. At that time all wanted to be owners of bitcoin.

I keep holding ethereum because is most profitable altcoin so far, today is best option for getting profit with eth because only eth could be stable altcoin and have higher price every day, keep invest yoru money in eth.

How can ethereum be the most profitable coin? Or any other alt? Maybe just for you, individually! Bitcoin is the coin that started from zero, most of the others had sale prices cause they was funded with millions, in the moment they were on exchanges they had some price. The market is highly risk to make a trade move because the market was seen onto falling yesterday and today it has recovered from the loss. If someone have thought of continued loss and sold might have lost some funds as the price recovered shortly in an unexpected way.

I missed to join the Dent coin and I regret this. Both projects have promising future and cloud storage technology will increase their role in the next years. Instead of investing in top coins buying these coins will give huge returns at the right time. Patience is necessary in this case.

Better keep holding bitcoin than have to invest and keep holding on dentacoin because its really lower price altcoin and have unlimited supply, how ever with altcoin have maximum supply hard for getting could raised to higher price.

It is good to diversify your investment and in doing that its also good to look out for coins that have good potential and the two coins you mentioned are both good, but in doing that you should also look out for other coins that may be also profiting in the future and in other not to put your eggs in one basket since we living in a speculative market the need to diversify is very important.

You really need to have a technical based confidence. It is not just investing with confidence, buy coin and just wait for it to pump is that what the confidence do? Confidence should be backed by analysis based on charts , price history and other datas.

Well the only cryptocurrency that I would invest is only Ethereum. Its price is so cheap at the moment and I'm sure it will rise high again on the future because there are still many projects that are using its own platform.

If you have good understanding with any events that might influence the flow, long term holdings of any coins that you know can bring good benefits for you, most of the time people who engaged with long term investment have a good outcome results, they already set up their mindsets to keep holding and  not be alarmed of any downfall, bitcoin and eth is the most common crypto that can be hold for long term engagements.

I missed a few years ago where all bounties were very real and ended with easy success with only taking a few days to reach hardcap. different from now that there are a lot of scammers who don't give a salary from the work they have done. But choosing the right crypto currency need skills,you can't simply get rich by investing on random crypto currency,as far as I know Sia coin is good to invest but don't have much analysis about it since it is cheaper.

Ethereum and Bitcoin cash. Why? Because whenever i saw the market in green, i always seeing ethereum and bitcoin cash are the highest one when go up and it happened so many times. So i only invest on ethereum and bitcoin cash right now, and i still wait until the price hit big.

I also put most of the assets in ethereum, and until now I still hold it faithful, hoping that the price will recover and become a leader in increasing cryptocurrency prices

In altcoins Eth remains the favourite of many as this is under valued a lot and in bull run it will rise like anything and same with btc I would suggest as market picks up we will see that this also rise quickly and crossing 5 , 7k etc .
