at $ 9k plus bitcoin's price today is a bit bigger than the sale right now so many losers but just hold on to your hold of bitcoin because longterm bitcoin will just increase their price next month

Looking at Preev it's now $8,946 USD. That's not the lowest for this year, lowest recorded for 2018 and for the past 90 days was last February 6 and BTC hit $7,208 USD. But if we are going to step back further, $6,230 USD was recorded last November 13, that was the lowest for the past 120 days. Lowest for the past 6 months that will be $3,530 USD and that was September 15, 2017.

Looking at current price versus the price for the past 90 and 120 days and up to 6 months, price today is still good. No investment can offer that growth or profits in 6 months time.

I think you can specify and you can refer to the exchange. if someone is a beginner who will invest of course he will say this is very expensive. so there is no measure for the value when you want to buy bitcoin. The price always fluctuates, but most of us look at cmc (https://coinmarketcap.com/). So its below $9K as of this moment.

As far are the price is going back to 2017, its 50/50. Why? simply because no one can really predict the price movement unless you have some kind of time traveler and can go see the price in the future and go back at present.  ;D

But if you are going to look back at bitcoin price history, its proven record shows that it has high probably that it can go and touch another all-time-high. Its just the question of when.

if you want the lowest price to buy bitcoin at, then it depends on where you go to buy and what method you choose to buy. exchanges usually have the same price more or less in similar currencies, for example price is nearly the same in USD but in other currencies like INR it may be different and much higher (it reached to 40% higher than USD value!).
as for method using p2p methods usually costs more.

nobody can tell for sure, but since nothing about bitcoin has changed and the adoption for it is still ongoing I'd say it will be at $20k and then rise even more beyond that eventually.

At the moment bitcoin is at $ 9k, and once touched back $ 10k but with the incident the bitcoin binance again declined.

and now it is more then 9000 usd, so you can see it is still considerable more then it was in the beginning of 2017

Well, todays price value is very fluctuating at $8k to $11k. Its normal that bitcoin has its value like that but i think its better than having its price below $5k. As an investor you should be knowledgeable about having these issues, i guess bitcoins price value would be doubled as it was on december 2017.

This new year has not yet proved that much benefial for the BTC, the valuation has been deflating continuously and all the bitcoiner is holding their bitcoin for having profit and the lowest valuation to which BTC deflates is about $6k and this condition of BTC was in the month of February and now the current valuation of BTC is 9K USD and now again the valuation of BTC is again inflating . My prediction it will crash til 6k if the movement will not change to up. Green and red changing of colors is always on the move. In this crypto world change will become just normal either altcoins or bitcoin. No one can stop bitcoin rising and no one can stop it in lowest price. I hope that it will not end up in a very massive crash that no one wants to look at it.

I can remember Bitcoin selling at sub $200 in 2015 before it goes up again and break $1000.  I do not know how low Bitcoin will be this year but I guess the downtrend is not done yet.  Then I suspect that after this crash, it will go up again sometime in the 2nd half of this year.

People buy BTC at today's price because they either need it to purchase something (eg weed on a dark market) or they believe the value of the BTC will rise in future.
People sell BTC at today's price because they either need to liquidate bitcoin for fiat or they believe the value of BTC will fall in future.
The majority of supply is controlled by early adopters and miners, demand is being driven by the speculators.
Unfortunately these speculators are driven by positive media of huge gains made which brings out the greed in them rather than common sense.
Most of these speculators are uninformed and not really aware of the risks and jumping on the bandwagon because of FOMO, for a lot of people this investment is a total gamble and unlike a sensible investor/speculator they are risking more then they can afford to lose. When the stories of people losing significant amounts of money start getting published this will have a negative effect on the average investor.
The savior could be institutional investors but I imagine the majority will wait to see how governments treat BTC and what regulation may be imposed.

Due to all this factors, it is almost impossible to predict the BTC price.

I think BTC price impossible down over 6k$

At the moment, it is almost impossible to predict where the Bitcoin price will go. Because its price depends on the decisions of many people.

The central control body of the bitcoin network does not exist: it is distributed to all participants, and every computer that produces bitcoins is an equal participant in this system.

Bitcoin is staggering between 8000$ to 8500$ at the moment which is bigger then what it was this time 2017 because by this time last year the price of bitcoin was just a little above 2000$ and I don't think bitcoin price can ever return back to that again rather it will go higher to 20000$ very soon.

I think this year, the lowest price bitcoin had was around $6K USD and just later increase currently around $9K. With this development , I think bitcoin is going for the recovery on the $11 K mark within the month.  FUD and negative news should not strike again such that it will not affect the on going up trend of the price.

In the past, we have seen the market value of the bitcoin rising to 20k$ or so and that it can go even beyond that. I don’t really think so that this is the end of the market value of the bitcoin and that I am very much sure that it will increase much more than its current rate and will help those who are holding their bitcoins to have greater amount of profit. The market value of bitcoin will keep on increasing to the limit beyond our thinking in future.

Bitcoin price has already been lower. Quite logically, at inception, the price was very low, you could easily get 1 btc from faucet websites.

That's no longer true. The current price is low. People are freaking out because we have never experienced such a situation.

This may be a bad start in early 2018 with Bitcoin prices far below, but it may not last long and will go back up so everyone will enjoy it.

For now the price of bitcoin is lowering in the market and its not good to all bitcoin holder but i hope that bitcoin price will raise again so i keep holding my btc and wait to raise..

When I started using bitcoin or learning it, the price was around 2,000$. That is way back 2017 but I do not recall the month. I regret that some of my earning was sold immediately because I thought the price will not go up, but apparently, I was wrong. So now, I keep holding and holding even though the price decreased but I know history will repeat itself. It will be 19,000$ and up again.
