with a Circulating Supply of 2 568 973 866 070 and a daily volume trade of only  $377 959 USD,  PACcoin ($PAC) is in third position.

They removed it from 3rd position  ;D This is funny since it has 40 billion cap.

I think there was an issue with coinmarketcaps api, but all this ranking has given this shit coin some shilling and fomo but i will stay away as it will dump harder after pumping.

This year PACcoin "rebranded" or they created PACcoin 2.0, $PAC. When they sent new infos about the coin to CMC, some of the infos were not entered correctly, exactly the formula of old coin was calculating supply for the new coin which created enormous numbers. The current total supply estimated for next 25 years is cca. 100,000,000,000 which is only 4% of what is written as circulating supply on the picture above. At the end they got a huge exposure, because everyone was questioning what is happening  :D

it is just a coin that forked with a lower supply because of a huge token burn.

cmc did not count in the token burn - so the market cap is way too high ;)

Initially i was quite surprised how is it possible from the order of 1242 up the ranks into the No. 3 slot.

Yeah, the PACcoin situation was a mini-fiasco. More amusing than anything. I didn't get a chance to personally see it, but I noticed some people talking about it earlier today. I'm sure a few PAC holders felt their heart stops in their chests for a bit.

Poor PAC. It's only less than 24 hrs sitting in the top 3 rank and now it's back to where it came from, 1241 as of writing. They had corrected the info but still the circulating supply is not yet determined. Total supply 3,880,657,660.

It's no <1000 rank again.

Reminds me of a coin called solar coin when it was still around and active, it actually had a larger market cap than bitcoin even though it was obviously much less liquid than the actual bitcoin or major altcoins.

It seems like that they made an error with the circulating supply of this coin. The real circulating supply is only around 3.8 billion it seems.

Nothing to worry about, they've corrected it very soon.

There are some mistakes in CMC because sometimes the value is not showing correctly. Even after sending details to CMC by the company owners but they are taking a little bit of time to update the market volumes.

Thank you for clarification . I do not like PAC coin as for me it is just a shitcoin . I was really surprised that it was on rank 3 on coinmarketcap.  ;D

Well I saw this coin from 1 sat and today it was already pump right? Because I don't heard any of their projects, team or community. Maybe if that coin go back to 1 sat I'll buy a bag of it since it's look a like PND to me.

Such mistakes can happen. With just 40 BTC volumes, no coin can go out this much.

Could not even find the PAC in top 100 anymore.

It probably was some mistake on the CMC side. Now it has been corrected. Unfortunately, Paccoin has already lost the honorable 3rd place.

Yes it is just a mistake. It is now corrected. With the coins circulating the market trader and definetely investors will likely avoid this coin.  Two trillion in circulation it is lucky to even worth a cent.

lol, what was that some kind of glitch? Sometimes thing like that happen on coinmarketcap  I remember price error on PLC, and when they excluded  Korea from price drop on 20%

Even though it is true that PACcoin is in the top three position i will not risk my money just to invest in it.
I will still prefer the trusted and most popular coin in the top three, like bitcoin.
Even though some coin are doing great, you still have to keep an eye in that specific coin before investing.
