Also, why didn't you do a static build? I don't have boost 1.55, Ubuntu 16.04.3 only has packages for 1.58 and it can't be compiled from source on 16.

Bitcoin is the only currency of which chain never has been compromised or hacked being up for more than 9 years now. There is no reason to compare it with Bitcoin. For your coin will be important to see adaption and support and this is the thing on which growth and success of any coin stands. By the way name of your currency should be mentioned in title for others to have easy access to it.

This is uncomplete project, so don't expect too much.

I expect the dev to at least respond when there's a problem. This is the second time he released after "fixing" the problem before. Doesn't bode well when the dev doesn't communicate at all.

If the project is incomplete, why release it? The testnet exists for a reason.

Some project like this one are very flambouyant, they are claiming something which is not actually fit for them considering their status not to mention they poor appearance Announcement thread. Next time, don't compare your project to the Bitcoin if even your thread is not properly presentable.

Thanks for finding the bug. I've recompiled after replacing the string of zeroes with "f6fb13eb245e400996b0ec9aa8aacfda38ef46bdaf36ebd7cc7e63eecfab10c7" and now the daemon successfully syncs.

without other sources (block explorer, pools) it's hard to know if it's on the right chain.  are you running your own node?  does the block height and hashes show the same?

There's something wrong with the daemon or wallet.  Had problems all day yesterday with the wallet getting incorrect values (especially if I run 'reset').  This is a high-traffic wallet, and this issue might not affect smaller wallets.

As a result, the wallet tries to spend inputs that have already been spent.  I think the problem may be at the daemon level, though, because after an attempted invalid spend, the daemon itself fails to mine properly.  I had to resync and restart the daemon about 5 times yesterday, and it still ends up getting corrupted over time.

Overnight the wallet balance was:


in the morning, with only one block being processed, and no other activity:

what code base did you fork for your coin?  is there a known issue and a known fix?

I'm in the process of moving coins to a new wallet to confirm that this does not affect a low-traffic wallet and so my payouts can work again.

Dev, are you not aware of how Git works? You don't have to keep uploading separate compilations as separate repositories. Just keep one repository of the source code, push the necessary changes to it, and put compiled versions in "releases". I can't keep track of which repository is the actual, current source code.

If you are editing the code, please push the latest changes to the source code. Your compiled versions are useless to me as I don't have boost 1.55 and you've not compiled statically.
