Title: Decentralized Mechanical Turks and other AI projects.
Post by: totholio on March 09, 2018, 11:10:01 PM
Let's collect the promising blockchain based Mechanical Turk projects, it would be a great additional work/hobby if not better to any bounty hunter/blockchain enthusiast.

Advantages compared to Amazon MTurk, from Effect.ai:

1. Way less percentage taken from requesters

2. Less restricted countries, lower entry barrier

3. Withdrawal of funds: instantly

4. Average hourly rate of a worker: x2/x3+

misc.: private, secure, fully global, potential for millions of workers.

That's pretty interesting for me, but i think that what was the role of decentralization in this case? It may better if you can give the more explanation regarding it. Basically, the blockchain has owned private and secure transaction to the users.

But some platform is improving the code to be untraceable. In fact that if that coin was pegged to the centralized exchange site which gives a KYC verification as an obligation to every user. Can you say if that was secure and private?

Is there even another project except gems and effect.ai? I would be extremely interested, these projects could become massive.

Secure: No central party in control of the transactions or data, I mentioned private because requesters can provide their data set in encrypted form. Only selected users would be able to decrypt or access the data, determined by network smart contracts using Public key encryption.

Yes I think these 2 are the main ones, effect.ai being more ambitious with the marketplace and decentralized AI.

Stanford’s Crowd Research Collective is working on a “self-governed crowdsourcing marketplace” -Daemo- which could be a competing platform. It's also more user friendly. There are literally millions of people who would be interested in such work, although AI and machine learning is advancing at a rapid pace I think these project if developed properly will have great success.

If you are into AI projects I believe you may like this ICO that I believe in. The principal visionary has 30 years design experience and CTO has 40 years coding experience in the financial markets for exchanges. They’ve worked successfully together prior to this project and are building a machine learning arbitrage bot that will provide market stability and lead the masses into crypto by removing the volatility that keeps so many away from the sector.

Damn, hopefully this crash won't ruin the upcoming sales on NEO.

They said that they will lock EFX-NEO with a favorable price, hopefully the market will stabilize a bit next week. It can't be too cheap because then people will be able to buy for cheap fiat.

Looks like the Mturk market is growing, great opportunity for Effect. They will have a partner with a lot of requests, just announced. https://www.wired.com/story/amazons-turker-crowd-has-had-enough/?mbid=social_fb_onsiteshare

The sale was great, hopefully they will announce a second exchange after Switcheo soon because it will take time to get volume there. The prototype will be available for whitelisted people only?

Yes it was professional, great decisions so far by the team. Yes that is correct, only whitelisted people will be able to join the prototype testing.
