Post by: deslok on July 22, 2011, 04:08:29 PM
Seems to place to ask this, would it be possible to add skype to our profile pages?

Yeah, it would be very interesting to chat with some of you people.

Face to face is much more personal.

I only asked because regardless of face to face (which aim/msn/yim support) skype seems to be an omission with aim icq msn and yim on the list that's all.

Guys we're all smart enough to google IRC yes it's old no it's not outdated it's more than servicable for text communicaion. Should i throw out my model M because it was made in 89? no because it works fine still. This was a question about why a IM protocol that's fairly popular isn't avialable on our profile pages that's all maybe i should have asked for a "other" box instead i'm sure there are protocols people use that aren't on there besides skype.

Email is older than IRC. Let's throw that out too.

The OP wasn't talking about throwing anything out.  I like the idea since my business model is partly based on Skype.  :)
