But keep in mind they are only halfway or so through their first production run, if they can ramp it up, even though we are nearing the end of this difficulty interval, the 263M estimate may prove to be conservative.
Also asic miner promised 500TH by the end of this month, last I checked they were at 60 or so . If they can deliver on their promise, thats gonna be another boost. I also suspect this will be one of the smaller leaps we will see for next 3 or 4 jumps at least. It's getting brutal thats for sure.

This is a crazy amount of computational power, which means the network is all that more secure. Obviously miners arn't buying miners because they want to make a fortune. We really need a fat BTC rally again to offset this rocket ship rise in network power.

Even if somehow the network remains flat at 2.5PH for the next 2 weeks, the next retargeting end at the end of the month would be ~350M, that much is already deployed.
