This is a multi-faceted hard fork and as such it's important that all DGC users update as soon as possible. Update Details Rewards: 15 coins per block Block Time: 40 seconds Blocks to Retarget: 108 block retarget time (~72 min) Other: UPNP support enabled, a new checkpoint is added, and the alert system has been updated. You must update before block 523,800 or the digitalcoin network will no longer accept your client. I think 15% steps are even better. FTC and PXC have 9% max up/down and that's working smooth, no multipool issues anymore. DGC is able to adjust to the environment when the community agrees on a change.

This is a good change, importantly to relieve downward pressure on the market amongst other things and will benefit the dgc community in the long term.
