Title: Ice's mini loans
Post by: icecube on October 13, 2013, 03:35:46 PM

I'll be gone on vacation.
So, no more requests for now.
Giving a loan to those in need. Requirements are that you must be a full member (or higher) and not ask for such a large amount of BTC. Interest is discussed upon making a loan contract between us.

Bro, you take it wayyy too fast.  He could be a scammer for all we know.
Ask them for the reason, ask them if they have a collateral.

I would suggest you be a whole lot more careful.

Plus, open up to newbies, just require a collateral.

Interested in a .15 BTC loan, I have a signature payment from Stunna due on the 17th, so will pay back then. I am willing to pay-back .155, is that acceptable? If so, please send to: 1HVhnhT43gUqxW6iYCKSA4rNu2tkf1ZE9N

Ok, how about .175, is that reasonable? That is 13 & 1/3 % interest for 72 hours...

Don't do it.

This dude is a scammer.  Well... if his bets win he will pay you... if his bets lose then he will just stop contacting you and make a new username that is nearly identical to his last one.

Marjamrob = Markjamrobin

Pretty obvious.

It's just a crazy coincidence, huh?  Asking for the same exact loans, with nearly the same exact name... try harder.

Why is it "so crazy"? I have a similar name to someone who scammed you...

icecube, this is when I laugh at your easiness.
You do KNOW that the loan was probably for gambling, right?
And, just because he paid back doesn't mean he will continue doing so.

I'm interested in receiving a loan of 1.5BTC and repaying within 30 days.  I am unsure where you peg 1.5BTC at in regards to it being small enough, so if you are in favor of a lower amount; I'd appreciate working something out with you.  It is to help accelerate purchasing a 5th 7950 for Scrypt mining as well as heat production units I'm using here during the winter.

There is a problem with your request.  You didn't state HOW you would pay back.  How can you get the bitcoins to pay Ice back?

My apologies, I thought that was self explanatory.

The 7950's + 7850 + Block Erupters produces roughly $150/month, and I'm working on selling some items on Ebay as well.  Repayment would of course be in BTC.

But what you forgot to mention is that the bitcoin difficulty is increasing like CRAZY the last couple of months, and it'll probably go up even more.

No, I didn't forget.  I'm purchasing and have the majority of my invested funds tied into 7950's, I only calculated the amount the 7950's produce, not the Block Erupters (only have a few).  The 7950s and the profit they produce has hardly changed since the time I started out with them a good while back as I did not stick to a single coin after a period of LTC mining.  I currently mine with a auto-switch/auto-exchange pool, and alt-coin diversity strengthens the profit in mining by having numerous different difficulties.

EDIT:

Also screen of the pool site just to add a little more validity to what I'm saying.
